This new book debates whether the McCanns are victims or perpetrators in the disappearance of their daughter - based on a psychological investigation of their public appearances on media, TV, blog and webpage.

Considerable effort has been made on the analysis of the blog entries, of their form, style and content.

The author concludes that Madeleine died accidentally in the apartment following a fall from the couch, either immediately after the parents left the apartment or after Gerry's check.

It is her conviction that it was Kate who found Madeleine and hid her initially,
whereas Gerry only came in later in her support.

Ah, but Mr Amaral's book never did get translated into English did it, and it still got banned. I am still at a loss to see how anyone in this country can get a book banned that is available in other countries. How can citizens of this country tell people of another country what they can and can't read....unbelievable angry

This has been discussed on the MM under thread title “German Opinion on the MBM case”.

Apparently author is a German pysychiatrist who applied the scientific method of psychology and psychoanalysis making use of available written materials as well as visual observations of mccanns public appearances to write the book. She also exchanged views with an emminent German criminal and foresnic psychologist Dr. Christian Lüdke, who analysed the mccanns, and supported the view that the mccanns knew exactly what happened to Maddie. Incidentally he did an interview with the German Media on 7 September 2007, and translation of his interview by Nigel Moore is on this link:

Posters on MM are saying the mccanns are seeking german translators on facebook. Any guess what that might be for?

I don’t suppose they will sue this author in the near future, not unless they want to draw more attention to their already dubious reputation. But having said that, I suppose one cannot underestimate their arrogance and fascists mentality……so who knows? Anyway, if they do, it can only be a good thing because it will not only draw attention to the book, but them as well which will serve to remind the public of their possible involvement.

According to them people must believe Maddie was ABDUCTED by a peodo, they were even so sure she couldn’t have wandered off. Why?
They and their supporters bashed the dogs citing lack of collaborating forensic evidence, but conveniently omitted to mention the same dogs were used on other areas - the other apartments, RM domain as well.
The fact that despite that the dog marked only everything mccanns - apt, car, and their possessions; that in itself is remarkably signifiant, not to be discounted, because the dogs are expert in the field with exemplary records. Who died in the apartment 5A then?

If they carry on sueing or threatening to sue it will do them no end of harm. No-one believes them anyway and if them sueing people hits the press it will only go to reinforce people's suspicions. If they are advertising for German translators publicly (and I dont know if they are) that makes them look a bit "tin pot" doesnt it.

Well posters of MM seemed to have seen their advertisement on Facebook, so that must be truth. There is even speculation that they are seeking vulnerable students who would do it for very little or no money at all. Who knows what they need a German translator for, but coming at the same time as the circulation of the book, its not difficult for people to come to a conclusion. Yes, they are becoming "tin-pot" about it because their funds must be running v.low, what with paying lawyers to issue threatening letterS and upcoming trial in PT, they must be nearly skint where the fund is concerned.

I cant see them using their own money where Maddie is concerned, because they havent so far, so its a pretty good indication. So they might have to run to their sugar papa BK, or organise many more celebrity bash or such likes. Putting out the begging bowl again will popularise them because never in the cases of missing child history had parents asked for so much help - they want people to give them money, they also want people to literally physically search for Maddie. Then they have the flaming cheeks to sue all and sundry for saying they did nothing about it precisely because people know they knew exactly what happened to her and any search will be fruitless.
