Got to love whistle blowers since the fund is a fraud lets hope the right people get prosecuted one day the McScams and their cronies

The fund to find Madeleine McCann was ripped off by up to £100,000, claim whistleblowers.
Documents alleging the huge fraud have been handed to her parents Kate
and Gerry .
It is claimed a person connected to the hunt for the three year old used
public donations to fund his own lifestyle. He is said to have duped the
McCanns into thinking the cash was spent looking for their daughter.
Two whistleblowers named the man in sworn affidavits which The Sun passed
to the couple. They allege false accounting and forgery of travel and hotel
receipts. One said "What made the fraud so disgusting was money came
from people who shed tears over her disappearance and wanted to do their
little bit" The fund was launched in May 2007 when Madeleine disappeared
from the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz. It has raised more than £2million.
Backers include JK Rowling and David Beckham. There is no suggestion of any
wrongdoing by Kate or Gerry who thanked The Sun for the evidence. Last night
the McCanns spokesman said "Madeleine's Fund takes extremely seriously any
suggestion monies intended for the search have been obtained fraudulently.
Kate, Gerry and the other directors of Madeleine's Fund will co-operate fully with
authorities to ensure these claims are fully investigated".

What a strange thing to say. Why wouldn't they "co-operate fully"?

It wasn't just one man who defrauded the" Find Madeleine McCann Fund" was it Clarence,Metodo 3,Kevin haligen,Henri Exton and any covert operations on  certain clients behalf,eh uncle Brian?

There are many ways to look at this.

Here's one simple view (I have a few other theories).

Someone defrauded the Madeleine Fund. It's already been reported. The McCann's either did/didn't pursue it (makes no difference to what I'm about to put forward).

A couple of whistleblowers make sworn affadavits and speak to The Sun.  The Sun newspaper hands over documents (not the affadavits - the Sun article made that clear) to the McCanns.

The McCanns now have no choice but to allow Scotland Yard to scrutinize their Fund.

Operation Grange is back in the game/going to continue for at least another two years.

I notice that Pamela Gurney pops up again. Her posts can be seen in response to a post by Terri L Holt. The posts shown below are classics. Hasn't she read Kate's book? Kate writes that she believes that 'the abductor' drugged the twins on the night of the abduction as they were in such a deep sleep. Kate even checks their breathing for signs of life for heaven's sake!  Kate also writes that 'the abductor' may have tried to drug Madeleine that night before as she finds a stain on her pajama top plus Madeleine is very sleepy on Thursday.


The twins were only tested for drugs AFTER a long period of time when not only had their hair been cut but months had elapsed so the tests were likely to be useless. Of course Kate as an anesthetist and Gerry as a consultant would have known this.

I don't mean following by way of actual stalking I hasten to add but following the propagandists who lead these simple people into a world of conspiralunacy. I think the Sun could do well writing another very long article on the trolls who attack the Mccanns because it is dreadful to watch it.



The McCanns didn't refuse for the children to be tested. I think Gerry may have cancelled the test in the end but only, I assume, because as a Consultant Doctor he would know there were no signs of them being drugged and Kate as an anaesthetist probably knew that too once the children woke up. If drugs were administered it would have been by the abductors not the Mccanns and when the twins were tested weeks later by the Mccanns, had there been drugs in their system it would have shown up. No drugs were given IMO. Children have an ability to sleep through anything as I know personally from having had children and been one myself.


I doubt anyone, even the abductor cld get 2 or 3 children to take tablets without them choking or screaming the place down. Get real people and it's the hair the drugs remain detectable in.

If, IF, Madeleine's 'fund' was 'set up' and the McS 'knew' that Madeleine was 'deceased' BEFORE the 'fund' set up, then certainly they would have 'obtained, fraudulently' monies from OAP's, schoolkids, 'anyone', FOR a 'pretend SEARCH'

While the gofundme appeal buoying “Maddie cop” Gonçalo Amaral in his legal fight against the parents of Madeleine McCann is being temporarily wound down in Portugal, in UK news this week centres on an alleged fraud within the fund set up to find the missing child.

According to the Sun newspaper, whistleblowers have presented damning evidence pointing to a “person connected to the hunt” for Madeleine using “public donations to fund his own lifestyle”.

The Find Madeleine Fund has consequently been "ripped off" to the tune of over £100,000 - which Portuguese newspapers have translated as “almost €139,000”.

In Portugal meantime, the friends and supporters of Amaral have decided to pull the gofundme online appeal launched six months ago by a single mother from Birmingham who was only 14 when Madeleine went missing.

The last donations are still flowing in before the page is to be officially closed on Wednesday, October 28, having raised in excess of €73,000.

The official reason for closure was that supporters felt there was “largely sufficient” in the fund’s account to “face eventual future expenses”.

A source has since confirmed to the Resident that other forms of fundraising remain open, as the way ahead will almost certainly involve further appeals.

For now, the decision by judges at Lisbon’s Appellate Court on Amaral’s appeal against the €500,000-plus damages awarded against him in the civil action taken out by the McCanns over his book “A Verdade da Mentira” is due any day.

But the source explained to us that if the appeal is upheld - that is, if Amaral “wins” and at last sees his assets unfrozen after six years of litigation - “the McCanns will almost certainly appeal”.

“The next step would be an appeal to the Supreme Court, and then even to the Constitutional Court,” said the source.

And should Amaral lose the fight, which he feels centres on his right to freedom of expression, then a new online appeal will be needed to fund a case against Portuguese justice in the European Court of Human Rights.

As the Resident explained six months ago when 22-year-old Leanne Baulch set up the gofundme page, the British tabloid press vilified the bid, saying it was powered by “sick online trolls”.

Unpleasantness continued to the point where Ms Baulch - the single parent of a toddler - removed herself from the process altogether.

It was then that the page transferred to the friends of Amaral. But the unpleasantness is understood to have continued, with internet manipulation of the appeal’s online code so that a few weeks ago it virtually disappeared from sight.

In their announcement to the 2,791 subscribers sent out last Thursday, the group writing collectively said: “May we use this moment to wholeheartedly thank those who have expressed their support for Gonçalo Amaral’s right to an appropriate defence. Whether you have contributed financially or by sending a support message, you have made an impact. You have made a difference.”

I believe you make a good point, the table have been turned. GA now has money for legal costs but the Mcs are running short. Plus I believe the shenanigans at Westminster that ties Tm into there are gradually being 'resolved' which will ultimately enable the political establishments to cut them adrift.

If it is a case of trying to get more funds from the public they wont be getting any money from me that's for sure.   Not that I donated originally, but I believe there wont be too many  keen to donate again.  Why would they, two police teams working on the case until next spring at least?

It certainly makes you wonder doesn't it. Seems to be the TM modus operandi previously, to deflect away from other important issues. Do they always have to have centre stage over everything else?
