Brother gives up job - not compassionate leave, or sabbatical, or a couple of weeks annual leave brought forward until they find Madeleine . . .
Eye defect is trademarked in the US - LØOK
Bates Wells B get trademark in the UK
"Fund" is said to be a Fighting Fund - to be used for Legal expenses
"Fund" is then said to be for continuing the search once the police have stopped - (Yes, Gerry said that !)

They all knew knew that Madeline would never be found. And they couldn't help smirking and grinning when anyone talked about looking for her.

20 May 07	17	Our day starts around 6.30am with us all waking up around the same time. We have breakfast with Sean and Amelie and our close family/friends who are here with us. Then its clean nappies and clothes for Sean and Amelie followed by showers etc for the rest of us. Usually there’s some free time then for a few stories or games with the twins before heading out. 9.00-9.15 We take Sean and Amelie to Kids’ Club. They really enjoy it and run in. They know the staff well and the staff are all excellent. Both love the domestic corner and Amelie particularly likes to look after ‘babies’. We use the kids club a bit like nursery at home but we think Sean and Amelie still think they are on holiday! 9.30~12.15. We return to the apartments, usually for a series of meetings with our press officer, Mark Warner Reps, occasionally Consulate staff, lawyers and British Liaison officers. During this time we catch up with family and close friends, usually by telephone and discuss ideas how to keep Madeleine’s profile high especially throughout continental Europe. 12.30 Time to pick up Sean and Amelie from Kids’ club then head back to apartment for lunch, which has usually been prepared by one of our family/friends group who have been tremendously supportive. 13.30 –14.30 This is time to spend time playing with the twins either in the apartment or in the play area next to kids club. 14.30-15.00 Usually we take the twins back to Kids’ Club although Sean has had the odd afternoon in the apartment as it’s a bit cooler and he’s not much of a sun worshipper! MarkWarner, who have looked after us so well, laid on a car and driver. We managed to continue the campaign with telephone conversations and e-mails. The actual visit was veryencouraging with the rector and thousands of pilgrims praying for Madeleine as well Kate and I. We lit candles for Madeleine and also 3 for Madeleine’s grandparents. The trip received a lot of publicity which should help maintain the profile of her abduction. We are planning a relatively quiet day tomoorow although the British Ambaasador is coming to visit and we need to start finalising our plans for interviews in areas of Europe where the coverage of Madeleine’s disappaerance has been limited.

Maddie became officially 'findable' as from about the 17th of May. I believe that the 5 million hits in one day changed the original course of action imo. No point in selling a product that has a short shelf-life?

John McCann's CV on Linked In shows no break in his employment at all, stayed with AstroZeneca for years by the looks of it. Couldn't possibly be something in it for the firm to perpetuate this myth? There was the merger with a laboratory in Huelva of course and what was JM's actual job at the firm?

If this was a planned event to progress the microchipping agenda, then the worldwide brotherhoods would have neded a sign or symbol immediately to give them the heads up that a big gig was going down, a wider agenda.

What clearer heads up, for eyes that can see, than to have as the dominant personnel the brothers Mccann - the freres macon (original name for the free mason brotherhood).

It would be interesting to find out more about Freemasonic lodge 5231 Benefactum (Highbury / Islington) imo, which apparently meets a few yards from St James's Palace, and is one of only two lodges remaining who perform a certain ritual. It would be interesting to know what that ritual is, and why only two lodges will perform it now.

And more to the point, who is connected with it, and why, if it is the Islington lodge, it meets in the heart of Royal / Spook land?

I don't see what this proves. Again, even an innocent parent would trademark the name of a fund set up to benefit the search for their daughter. It can be said quite credibly that such a trademark was to prevent fraudsters from collecting money in MM's name. I'm not claiming the McCann's had an honest intent with this trademark but nobody can honestly say that an early trademark proves they knew Madeleine would not be coming home. At most, it adds weight to speculation that they knew Madeleine would never come home and that arrangements were being made to benefit financially right from the jump.

The more interesting aspect of this trademark in my opinion is the need for it in the first place. If there had never been worldwide publicity over this case money from the public could never have been solicited as effectively as it was. The question then becomes, WHY was there so much publicity for this particular child and so early out of the gate from no less an esteemed organ as the Telegraph at 12:01 am on May 4. A very cynical, suspicious person might wonder if the publicity was orchestrated as a way to generate sympathy funds from the public as a way to pay off the McCanns without having to do it directly and out of pocket.

Why do they need a fund 2 weeks after the disappearance when there is a mega full blown investigation going on involving Portuguese and UK Police, the Foreign Office, The Media Monitoring Unit, the UK and international press and the UK Prime Minister?

Now that Bluebag, is a question worth asking. Almost immediately ( within 4 days) they were sitting down with a legal team who had flown out to them. So as I doubt the solicitors and a barrister if I recall, we're sitting twiddling their thumbs waiting for a McCall, the decision must have been made within hours of the reported abduction.
