A senior UK counter-terrorism officer has said people should be ''alert but not alarmed'' in terms of increased terror threats following the fatal Tunisia beach attack.

Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said the threat level for the UK remained ''severe'' and called for vigilance.

And he said 15 officers had left the UK for Tunisia to investigate the killings.
-----------------------------------------------------
So,

15 (MET?) police 'officers' investigating 38 'deaths' in Tunisia, in Tunisia.

YET, 38, FULL TIME, MET, police 'officers and staff', in Belgravia, London, TODAY, at a 'cost' of £6,778 to the UK taxpayer, TODAY, 'investigating' ONE 'disappearance' of a child in Portugal, over 8 YEARS ago, ONLY on the 'say so', and what they have been 'told', by the parents, of the 'missing' child!

Obviously the loss of any life however unfortunate it has come about is deeply regretful and commiserations to all the effected families in this horrific event.
In the middle of all this conflict being brought on "innocent people" by the terrorists, the terrorist are inflicting a mass exodus of people from their homes, the innocent parties are again being persecuted due to supposedly well educated Men and Woman following stupid ideas of war to over throw leaders from the Country's they had command of, well Done Tony Blair former "Middle East Peace Envoy" how cathartic!
We do not Know how many "Terrorists" are using the exodus of people to flee into Europe as a cover and can then spread their Terrorist activities?
We do Know that the European Ministers are more determined to dominate Greece financially, when Greece and Italy are bearing the brunt of persecuted people fleeing disasters made by their earlier decisions?
The Million's of people fleeing will one day want to return home?
The Elite in Society will use whatever methods at there disposal to bury bad news and whilst these atrocities are happening peoples eyes are taken "off the Ball" that we still need to watch.
The Human race is responsible for a lot of atrocities throughout this world and it is down to a lot of Megalomaniacs!?

Tony Blair gave in to terrorism then brown nosed George W sending us into a disastrous war. This is why there is a terrorism problem in the world today. It was all but exhausted in the 1980s 1990s.

Hi Lanesend,
I know I singled out TB in my post and as you rightly state of GB's involvement, the Bush clan (father & son) and their cohorts RC,DR were just as responsible for the campaigns they led in Irag.
Not one of these people mentioned will want for help in their financial aspect of life now they had been endorsed by the Banking Institutions in their proliferation of the escapades of War, remember George, stating Victory on the Warship of which we are still reeking from it's demise?
Also remember the above mentioned failed in their "Human Aspects" in regard to the allowance of rendition flights, torture,Water boarding, one wonders if these methods were used on them on their initial investigations(Chilcot inquiry) as to the results from them would have taken so long to extract, not condoning torture. eek
