SILENT SUPPORTERS (previously known as Lurkers!)
Welcome to all the Silent Supporters, previously known as Lurkers!
The term Lurkers no longer seems to sound right, not nice enough for the kind people signing up to show support for Tony, and more importantly, Madeleine and finding out what happened to her.
Your support at this crucial time is most welcome, I am sure Tony Bennett will not mind me speaking for him in this way, it is helping him to know he has a crowd of people cheering him on. I can't begin to imagine how he feels now the hour is drawing close. But I am certain it will bolster him to feel he is speaking for many as he faces these challenges.
So please if you are reading this and have not yet signed up to say then please do as soon as possible. It is greatly appreciated.

Thanks to you all for welcoming us.
I felt I had to show my support. The way in which Tony is being treated sends a clear message to the rest of us 'ordinary' people: if we can't afford to pay, we are not allowed to form our own opinions.
Justice is reputedly blind, in my opinion, it should be deaf to the rustle of pound notes, too.

They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

'Britain's punitive laws of libel' Indeed Tony. Until there is libel reform the rich will continue to coverup their crimes.
Wishing you the very best this week and will try my best to get down there.

Ironic that the owner of Mirror Group at the time, good old Captain Bob Maxwell, used the same laws to keep his dodgy dealings out of the public eye.

Hi, hope this is correct procedure ?
I wanted to wish Tony the very best of luck, Maddies truth is marching on stronger than ever
I can't fathom how anyone can make any judgement with the Scotland Yard investigation ongoing.
What happens when SY conclude exactly what TB has been saying ???
Sheer Madness!!!
Keep the Faith

Re: SILENT SUPPORTERS (previously known as Lurkers!)
I am joining tonight in order to express my sincere support for the principle of free speech and the ability to voice an opinion.
On the eve of this case, I think it is important to register support for anyone who stands up for his or her right to express his or her genuinely held belief, having come to a considered opinion.
Mr Bennett should know that many people are aware of the inequality of arms which he will face in the next two days.
Hopefully Mr Bennett will be encouraged that many have been very concerned in recent days and wish to offer their support and best wishes for tomorrow and Wednesday.
Good luck!
May justice prevail.

Mr. Bennett -
Have been reading and following the course of events since 2007. Would like to send a message of encouragement and support from 'across the pond'. I'm sure that you have prepared long and hard for this..... just remember that there are many who will have you in their thoughts these next few days, and are wishing you the best possible outcome.

Hello
Hello - thanks for making us newbies welcome.
Tony I have been following your hard work - and fully support your bravery in putting your neck quite literally on the line. Well done. Hopefully we are getting closer to the day certain persons are locked away....

A bit shocked, sad actually.
Hi Everyone.
I have watched, listened and educated myself on this case. Due to this site and others, I have gathered information, I have processed it. I have thought long and hard. Thank you to Jill havern forum and lots of other sites, for information and where to obtain Facts, not assumptions.
I had already sussed out, you may not believe this, from day one, yes day one, things didn't add up for me, personally.
I should really work for the Portuguese travel bureau. I LOVE PORTUGAL and probably 99% of Portuguese I have met, since going there, twice a year, since 1985, with my two now very grown up children, 33 and 38. We continue this visiting, all of us, with grandchildren now, ages, 9, 7 and two (another baba due in April, please god. A girl, Poppy. She will be enjoying the Algarve, sometime in September, all being well). Sorry, I go off on a tangent. What I am trying to say is, I am disgusted that this lovely place and the lovely people (yes it is a tourist industry, it is their job to make you feel welcome), but they know it is their lively hood, but they do it with such grace, they do actually care. Perhaps one day they will have, I'm sorry, more of the English attitude, god forbid, but it will happen, they won't care.
Sorry, I digress. What I mean to say, that when I heard of maddies disappearance, I was devastated, I was eager to learn all the facts, very interested as it was part of my life being in the algarve. That is one of my interests in this and also what has become of a lovely innocent little girl.
Listen, I'm not stupid. Gerry and Kate's account does not add up. In the early days, I thought, I must be wrong, it must be me, the way I think. I do not like the way they run down the lovely people of Portugal, this country could learn a lesson from them. Portugal has good and bad people, everywhere has good and bad people. Portugal still holds values that we had forty, fifty years ago. We are gone to the dogs in this country, everywhere will go there eventually. I do not like that the McCanns rubbish a Country, when their values, in my opinion could not wipe their boots.
Also, I am upset re Blacksmith, I love his posts, look forward to them. Yes abit caustic sometimes, always interesting, a different take, that makes me think more, dig deeper. I don't want any of us to fall out with him for his last post. Much wiser, if we let it go and see what occurs. After all, he wants what we all want.
My god, you asked for a lurker to speak, bet you wished I hadn't bothered.
Sorry, I promise to shut up for awhile.

Hahaha! Lurkers sounds a bit grubby mac on street corners. The silent supporters are VERY important, and very important that they just sign up even if they don't want to post, because although the pros would argue that it is a few signing up over and over, unless they have numerous email addresses they can't I don't think. Anyway, it's a bit like a petition, the greater the number the less the truth can be silenced without challenge.
Lolamanola - WELCOME !!!!
