Then-three-year-old Madeleine vanished from the couple’s Portuguese holiday apartment in 2007.

The hearing continues today.

ETA: I've just noticed that the Daily Star reporter seems to have got confused with GA, obviously can't keep up with all the ongoing trials Team McCann keep foisting on people who don't believe their "fairy tale".

Well, I guess that this is better than nothing.

Not of course that the McCanns were actually there - nor any of their devoted followers it seems - and the writer is confused with the adjournment of the Amaral case.

And the supreme irony that seems to have flown straight over the head of Isabel Martorell, is that she, on the other hand, thinks she's entitled to stand up in open court under oath to repeat an untested hearsay and expect it to be received as an absolute.

Exactly, Officially, or at least according to the authorities Madeleine is classified as a Missing person/child, only presumed abducted by her parents.

And a further one, in that she has now admitted by implication, that there is no evidence.
Otherwise she would obviously have reeled it off to be entered into the record.

Is it possible to write a book written by a large collection of forum members? I wonder if the Mccanns would still take 30 Plus people to court?!. Not that I would be any good at writing, I could however provide the cover and illustrations! Wink

Note to Isabel Martorell - I believe enough is enough trying to get a pensioner bankrupted and imprisoned because he dared to ask questions about Maddie's parents version of events.

Once the trial is over we could release much of the stuff I prepared for TB, but which has been ruled irrelevant to the narrow point in question.
They include fully referenced pieces on
Cadaver dogs
Changes in Story
Crocodile tears
Appeals and Pleas
Curtains, window and Door
Did they search
Egregious examples of lying
Sedation
Window of Opportunity
Some of them have been peer reviewed - the one on cadaver dogs both in the UK and in the States

It could be a series of monographs, rather than attempting a full narrative.

Oh my friend has just asked what I am doing, I told him I am on the Mccann case forum and explained briefly about this site!. He said " oh! do they want some Ad boards,bumper and window stickers making!?". Hes a sign writer! lol.

KNOWN FACTS, A PHONE CALL WAS RECEIVED REPORTING A 3 YR OLD GIRL MISSING FROM AN APARTMENT.
POLICE TOLD THE FOLLOWING :
PARENTS AND FRIENDS HAD BEEN DRINKING AND DINING IN A BAR/RESTAURANT CLOSE TO APARTMENT, MEAL BEGAN [ TIME]

REGULAR CHECKS HAD BEEN CARRIED OUT ON THE GROUP'S CHILDREN, SLEEPING IN THEIR OWN FAMILIES' APARTMENTS, DURING THE MEAL.[ INTERVALS OF CHECKS NOTED]
THIS HAD BECOME THE ROUTINE SINCE THE FIRST FULL DAY AT THE RESORT [ 29/4/07].

AT 10 PM MOTHER OF MISSING CHILD CHECKED AND COULD NOT SEE DAUGHTER IN BED OR ANYWHERE IN APARTMENT.

P.S. noticed after posting that while composing this a couple of other posts have appeared. I belive it is do-able if carefully planned, carefully written so that the FACTS speak for themselves. An indisputable factual account of events since May 3 2007. No speculation, just facts.

Are the McCanns taking action against John Stalker for saying [ documented] that they are hiding a big secret? He certainly did not suggest that they were involved in any way in Maddie's disappearance, but he has accused them of dishonesty, quite something and from which a lot could be inferred.

I am not a lawyer, so perhaps someone who is can confirm this or otherwise.

Anything said or read out in open court can be quoted in any publication. It is free from copyright and free from defamation proceedings - well, successful defamation proceedings.

This would imply - would it not? - that if A called B a bounder and a thief in open court, then this could be quoted, and there is nothing B could do about it.

I believe that is true or wouldn't there be problems with the limited coverage of Judge T's statement in which he reported the things that Tony was told he should not do?

I also understand that anything can be said in the Houses of Parliament with no legal repercussions.

If I am wrong, I'm happy to be corrected - only verbally please, I don't go for anything else!
