Prime Minister David Cameron meets Portuguese counterpart Pedro Passos
Coincidence???? Just days before on 18th April, and the Panorama prog, and all those interviews with Andy Redwood. This wasn't reported much was it? If you google it, no papers at all except Guardian.

Another Prime Minsiterial visit to try to rescue the sinking eurozone ship

One good thing that Gordon Brown did was to develop his famous 'five tests' that would have to be met before we joined the eurozone - those five tests stopped Blair driving us into this destined-to-fail project.
The Madeleine McCann affair cost the Portuguese peopel a huge amount of money and discouraged tourism there. Given that over quarter of a million people read (___ _____ __ ___ ___) and saw the documentary based on it, it wasn't surprising that last week Isabel Duarte, the McCanns' lawyer, conceded that most Portuguese people didn't ______ ___ _______.

Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"
Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

I am sure it has damaged tourism. A colleague at work called me "very brave" taking my daughter to Portugal.
