Re: Here we go again!
I echo the comments of the posters who rightly say this would be hysterical were there not a dead missing child at the heart of this.
It stretches the limits of incredulity to say that this woman was 'not 99%, but 100% sure it was Madeleine', so much so she had a fit of palsy, yet she did NOTHING for a whole WEEK? Truly, if you were in a supermarket and certain Maddie was there, wouldn't you have a word with security? If Maddie truly was missing and I was her parent, I'd feel 'FURY' (lol) at this woman's (non)actions... After all, they could've had the shop in lockdown in minutes and the child recovered!
We are expected to believe she went to the police a week later, and they publish this NOW, three years on?!? Police new it was bullox then... Oh scrub what I said about a missing child - this IS hysterical...
Its just a horrible, xenophobic article. WTF does 'he didn't look Spanish' mean? He wasn't dressed like a Matador???
For the record. My youngest son is half-Turkish. He has lighter hair than me. His dad, full-blown Turk - let's just say, if you didn't know and hadn't heard him speak you'd never know. He had lighter hair than me, green/blue eyes and fair-ish skin. He tanned nicely, but in NO way did he look 'Turkish'.
Such stereotypical rubbish. Coz all gypsies have dark curly hair and an earring, white transit van and piebald cobs everywhere don't they. I wonder if he tarmacs drives for a living, too? Pffft...

Re: Here we go again!
I wonder if Lord and Lady Muckann are happy with this report, They should be furious, should'nt they?.
A sighting of a missing child should be taken to the police and investigated quietly and discretly, not to alarm the abductor and force him to hide himself and the child away, or even worse, abandon the child or harm her.
No abductor is going to go about his daily business, shopping, buying petrol or stopping for a coffee with Madeleine McCann in tow. But, team McCann seam to think that he his not too bright and the abductor has been wandering around in public with Madeleine for almost 5 years.
If there was any truth in these news reports they would cause the abductor to go into hiding, taking Madeleine with him hence making the search so much more difficult.
So, Clarence, Kate and Gerry
Are you going to allow these reports to continue to hinder the search for Madeleine whilst they profit from her misfortune, or are you going to do something about them?

The witness is called Yvonne; maybe I'm being too cynical here but could someone be trying to muddy the waters by diverting internet searches to this 'new Yvonne' & not the crucial often forgotten witness - Yvonne Warren Martin, the senior social worker, the witness that thought she recognised David Payne?

so far i think that we have located 2 Yvonne Tunnicliffes
one who has a large number of contacts in Napier and Wellington where Kate and Gerry were in the late 90s
and another Yvonne Tunnicliffe who is head lawyer for Rochdale Crown Prosecution Service

Thank you Cloiseau, I've just read the statement again & see what you mean, I hadn't really noted that bit before.
Is there any one alse in the picture that fits this scar faced southerner that looked like David Payne? Who was Yvonne Martin describing if it wasn't Payne?
I'm sure if you're thoughts are relevant you won't be accused of derailing the thread, Im curious as to what you have to say.

My gut feeling is they use a friend's name with the friend's permission, but there is no such sighting.

Here's an interesting link to Yvonne Martin and Katharina Gaspar who both have had misgivings about DP. Both have worked in Plymouth Health Service.

BRIT’S NEW MADELEINE MCCANN CLAIM: 'I'M 100% CERTAIN I SAW HER'
23rd February 2012
By Ross Kaniuk
A BRITISH woman claims she saw Madeleine McCann with a man who looked “like a gypsy”.
Yvonne Tunnicliffe said she was certain the girl was the missing youngster as she was the spitting image of Maddie’s dad Gerry.
Yvonne, 63, saw the girl at a supermarket in Alhaurin el Grande in Spain and contacted police a week later.
But when they took the ex-sales assistant to examine CCTV tapes from the shop, the manager said footage was routinely deleted after seven days.
The sighting was in 2009, but Yvonne has come forward again to expat news site The Olive Press after she read other claims Maddie could have been snatched by a gypsy gang.
Yvonne said: “My whole body shook when I saw her. She looked just like her daddy.
“The girl’s demeanour bothered me. I don’t think she belonged to the man because she didn’t look anything like him.”
Madeleine vanished just before her fourth birthday in 2007 while on holiday with her parents in Portugal’s Praia da Luz, 220 miles west of Alhaurin el Grande.
A spokesman for the McCanns said: “Any verifiable information will go to police and private investigators and they will act where appropriate.”

Re: Here we go again!
I would say the supermarket in Alhaurin el Grande, Spain, is a long way away from the lawless village cave 10 miles radius of Praia da luz, Portugal. And people are expected to believe the abductor had travelled a hell of a long way. Would he have travelled all the way there in a "white van" and did he also hide his "white van" in the cave that he manages to avoid detection for so long?
And the witness, Yvonne whatever is her family name, who was 100% sure it was Maddie she saw stupidly also didn't approach security immediately to stop the man; or approach the girl to talk to her? Like I said earlier either this witness is v. lacking in a the brain department or this is yet another incredulous drivel spun by team mccanns, which begs the question - why NOW?
This is the stupidest piece of news team mccanns put out in the face of the Yard's review.

Do you think so, or did they just put that totally anodyne bit in, knowing that no one would ever object. That is what the press often do.ShuBob wrote:At least, the Daily Star was able to get a comment from "a spokesman" for the McCanns

I wouldn't be surprised at all PeterMac.
I am of the view the story was put out by the McCanns themselves and it was some sort of spin for the Olive Press to claim a spokesman wasn't available for comment at the time of going to press.

Is she felt like this, why did it take 7 whole days to contact the police???
The 'story' is so fabricated I can't help but rolling on the floor laughing in pity at the mccanns/mitchell.....They actually believe that anyone with an IQ more than 10 will believe this pathetic drivel. I find it insulting they have the ghoul to try it....so cannot wait till they are exposed

And have you noticed not a mention anywhere of "I just knew it was Madeleine because of the mark on her eye"? Not a mention, I wonder why as this would make it the 100% sighting wouldn't it?

I thought she was supposed to be Kate's "mini me" in looks and otherwise? Perhaps, this bit has been added in because of rumours concerning Gerry's paternity. At this stage, I rule nothing out as this people have shown time and again that they do/say nothing without reason.

Re: Here we go again!
Email from me to Olive press this morning.
James, John,
What on earth are you doing publishing this tripe ?
"She has only now come forward" but in the same article you say "Tunnicliffe contacted police a week after the sighting"
Which is it ? 2009 or last week ?
"She looked just like her daddy (Gerry)" He is a 45 year old man. Madeleine was a 3 year old girl.
"She... looked about seven or eight, which is how old she would have been now." This sighting was allegedly in 2009, when Madeleine, if alive, would have been 5.
And so on - sounded Portuguese - does she speak Portuguese ? was "certainly not from Alhaurin" What is the population of Alhaurin ? How many residents does she know ? Girl did not look Spanish - they are in Alhaurin, for heaven's sake, full of Brits and Dutch,
It was bad enough having to read the nonsense story about the Angolan Bouncer who "fled to Spain" when in fact he plays basketball for Huelva,
and the original stuff about having dashed over to PdL before midday chasing a report of a missing girl who might have been found at any moment.
But this latest one leaves us all with the suspicion, yet again, that it has been planted, very carefully, to divert attention from something else.
If so you are being used, cynically, by the McCann machine.
if not, then this is about as pathetic an article as you have ever published.
Yours
PeterMac
Here we go again.
An apt title mean as I keep on hitting the wrong button half way through and my post disappears, so here wer go again.
First part of the post is taken from a blogger and fits in with my latest research on the links between the three Geraghty's names that have cropped up in the case.
1. Apparently the Madeleine fund Leave No Stone Unturned Ltd, has its registered office at one of Britains largest law firms to represent Freemasons and its charities. J J Associates a private firm of investigators based in KNIGHTLY East Lancs/ West Yorks.
2. Colin Sahlke and Steve Taylor two former KNIGHTLY paratroopers and colleagues at Manhatton Showers, Nelson. Colin was said to have sold all his possesions to fund the trip to Praia da Luz to search the extensive drain system of the area after Madeleine's disappearance. Allegedly Colin's sister stated it was the first she had heard of Colin being a para or a Mason, she stated Colin liked to exaggerate, also Colin was a talker.
Colin Sahlke was found dead in bed on 19th April 2010 and cremated on the 29th Aprils 2010 cause of death still unknown.
Blogger writes, Manhatton Showers Ltd in Nelson has registered offices in Glossop, Derbyshire, at a firm of accountants called Crossley Lomas. Back in 2004 Crossley Lomas won a financial service award called the MIDAS award, the award logo is a compass crowning a large letter M, Crossly Lomas Ltd are the registered offices for many companies, they also advertise a Manchester company called Brownword Group Ltd, Brownword Group Ltd are the mother company of Mike India5 Ltd, the blogger adds , Mike India5 Ltd is clearly a play on the term M15.
In 2008 Brian Kennedy's rugby club Sale Sharks signed up a new sponsor with insurance specialist Mike India5 Ltd for a one year, prior to this deal the Cheadle Hulme based specialist in investigative integrity for the insurance industry, completed an investigation into benifits of association with the Guiness Premiership Club and Mike India5 Ltd became an official partner of Sale Sharks for the remaining club matches.
After the initial press interest when Sahlke and Taylor arrived in Luz, dressed in stormtrooper gear, all reporting ceased on them.
The blogger stated, There are strong links with Freemasons, Brian Kennedy , Ed Smethhurst, Colin Sahlke, Clarence Mitchell, North East Lancashire West Yorkshire.
3. Within days of the Sahlke/Taylor story, the story of the bouncy castle billboard broke and the same blogger wrote. In writing the book Faked Abduction, a few controversial chapters were removed, these chapters detailed the operation of the inflatable bouncy castle billboard, sent over to Praia da Luz to help with the Madeleine search. Maaging director of Posterplus Media Ltd Gavin Hollywood allegedly stated the operation took 13 days and cost £20, 000 with two drivers taking 3 days travel to get there with the truck, the two drivers Chris Lennox and Les Hurley claimed to have been moved by the Madeleine story, the blogger adds. Apparently Les Harley who claims to be the brains behind the operation lives close to John McCann in Temple/Patrick area Glasgow and its a fair bet that Les knew John as a Bretheren in a local Galon Lodge located at Ardery Street that was burnt to the ground in an arson attack in 2008.
4. Now we continue my research which seems to fit the bill of the name Geraghty links with that Mike India5 play on M15, stormtroopers link.
There are unusual coincidences of the name Geraghty linked to the Madeleine case. I assume they are spelt the same.
1. That is the rental Scenic Renault car inspection signed by Geraghty with driver named as Cameron.
2. Am I right in thinking one John Geraghty a 68 yr old businessman from Leicestershire was the friend who lives near Praia da Luz and offered to store the Scenic Renault for the McCanns and also the same one who got the church keys handed over to the McCanns.
3. Now the discovery of a Friank Geraghty Officer Sfety/ Instructor Met Police Ipswich UK and trainer of spaniel gun dogs, here is his web site blag below.
Frank Geraghty- Officer /Physical Instructor ,Met Police Service , Creator/Trainer of Macgiraght Gundogs (by the way they look indentical breed to both Eddie Cadaver dog and the other dog)
Frank Geraghty portfolio continues- Past Counter Terroism Command Safety and Physical training, Instructor Met Police Service, Counter Terroism Command CBRN, A1 Instructor and Coordinator at Met Police , Education Hendon Police, Napier University Boness Academy, Macgiraght Spaniels, Breeding Gundogs.
Summary - High level of knowledge in self defence/protection both in overt and covert environment, Experienced adult trainer 19 years firearms officer, Covert Overt Protection Officer 30 years experience police officer in MPS, In 2007 spent 4yrs 4months Government Agency.
The list goes on and on clearly Officer Frank Geraghty is very proud of his police record, even tells us Thirty years in sports field, Special knowledge in three different breeds and Kennel Club Field Trial Judge and the list goes on and on including 2004-010 Coordinated, supervised and acted as trainer dept, single point contact Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear matters in equiptment, Policy Training and deployment, Laised and coordinated with Forensic Management Team compliance with MPS and National SOP's on Training.
Tired now so why don't you look him up just tap in Frank Geraghty and gun dogs
All info posted is available on the public web. Cheers.

Sorry for snipping your post so short sijm, but if could we just rewind to the bit I've underlined. I know West Yorks pretty well & I've never heard of a place called Knightly, nor in East Lancs for that matter. Internet searches don't bring anything up for me either, maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I can't find any place called Knightly in the UK?

There's a Knightley (with an E) in Staffordshire. I've found a J J Associates International who are private detectives but their website doesn't state where they are based.

If you read it properly, she took more than a week, because the recording is deleted on 7-day basis.

I just love it that both journalists at different papers end with CM's comment or non comment. Team mccanns' hallmark is all over this.
Anyhow, I wonder how Olive Press is going to produce Yvonne Tunnicliffe should the Yard carry out what CM wished ie follow it up?

Re: Here we go again!
Olive Press
When we accessed the site a couple of days ago, the on line version included the nonsense about Madeleine in Alhaurin in 2009
That edition was Issue 129 Feb 23 - Mar 7
TODAY - Friday, they have taken that edition down and have put up the previous one, Issue 128 Dated Feb 9 - 22
I took screen shots, so can say this with absolute certainty
Did someone read the emails ?
