A British dad has unveiled new evidence claiming his stepson was murdered in Siberia as he calls on President Vladimir Putin to re-open the case into his death.
University microbiology professor Mick Calcutt said he has “no doubt whatsoever” that American student Colin Madsen was killed and that he believes
Russian authorities have staged a huge cover-upT
The father of Colin Madsen has unveiled new evidence claiming his stepson was murdered in Siberia.
Mick Calcutt said he has ‘no doubt whatsoever’ that the American student was killed and that Russian authorities have staged a huge cover-up
He and US wife Dana Madsen-Calcutt revealed a specially-commissioned forensic report suggesting foul play during a news conference in London’s Westminster.
They are urging for it to be brought to the attention of the Russian president as he meets American President Donald Trump for the first time at the G20 summit of world leaders in Hamburg, Germany.
Colin, 25, vanished during a hiking trip with pals in Arshan in April last year.
His body was found in mountains after an eight-day search.
Russian authorities claim he died from hypothermia while under the influence of drugs but a report shows he was killed by a deliberate blow to the head.
His family have recruited ex BBC journalist and public relations supremo Clarence Mitchell – who has kept Madeleine McCann’s disappearance in the global spotlight for more than 10 years – to help “get justice” for their son.
Mick, 55, from Leatherhead, Surrey, who now lives in Jefferson City, Missouri, said: “The report indicates that Colin did not die on the spot where his body was found and he had sustained injuries to the wrists and hands that appear he was bound, and a blunt weapon injury to his head.
“It is clear he was murdered, there is no doubt whatsoever.
“We need this case re-opened after it was closed last July and want to drive this into the public eye.
“My and my wife are calling on President Trump to put pressure on President Putin to look into this as a murder case.”

Dr Martin Roberts: "The evidence is that these are the pjyamas Madeleine wore on holiday in Praia da Luz. They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"
Amelie McCann (aged 2): "Maddie's jammies!".

Oh dear, something is in the wind here with Kandohla and Mitchell of Cover-ups R us already on the case.
I was baffled by some blog stats earlier this week, wondering why the largest audience was Russia.
Is there some threat of exposure of these two cases?

O/T as such, but Bell Pottinger also getting slammed today, even if (amazingly?) the story managed to get hidden away from the BBC headlines pretty quickly:

A UK public relations firm has apologised over a controversial social media campaign in South Africa that critics say inflamed racial tensions.
Bell Pottinger is accused of using a strategy that stressed the power of white-owned businesses and promoted the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] hashtag.
The company has sacked one employee and suspended three, admitting the campaign was "offensive".
Critics say it worked to the advantage of President Jacob Zuma.
Bell Pottinger was hired by Oakbay, a company owned by the wealthy Guptas family.
The South African president has faced corruption allegations and suspicion over his ties with the Guptas. Mr Zuma and the Guptas have consistently denied all allegations.
