Publication of the e-book "The McCann's War"
As the readers of this blog know, I wrote a book with a detailed analysis of the defamatory campaign from the British Media against the Portuguese Police, the coordinator of Maddie's investigation, Gonçalo Amaral and Portugal, also.
My publisher decided today that the subject of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann does not raise enough interest to make the publication profitable, from a financial point of view. Just three weeks before the 12th anniversary of the disappearance of Maddie, I was left with only one option: to publish a e-book.
I will do it on Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, Leyaonline and Bubok (the last two are Portuguese “self-publishing” sites). The e-book, Portuguese version, will be released this month, April 22 and the English version, hopefully, one week after.
Book Index
- Lunch at the restaurant "Carvi"
- The "insult" to the McCanns
- Persistent attacks
- PJ: "Pigs", "clowns" and "incompetent"
- The former British police officers who destroyed PJ's reputation
- "Daily Mirror": from praise to fierce criticism in a few days
- The shuttered blinds
- Gerry and Kate alone looking for Maddie
- The thesis of the abduction by a pedophile network
- Portugal, a "paradise for pedophiles"
- Morocco, the ideal place to host Maddie's kidnappers
- The phenomenon of unreliable sightings and witnesses
- The "uselessness" of evidence obtained through DNA
- The private detectives
- The "locators" of bodies
- The "liquidation" of the best sniffer dog of the world
- An "army" of journalists in Huelva
- The false proposal of "plea bargain"
- "Thousands" of missing children in Portugal
- A brilliant misinformation manoeuvre
- The "Team McCann"
- “The Lost Battle”: A "Perfect Campaign" in traditional media, completely destroyed by the Internet

For and on behalf of esteemed CMOMM member Paulo Reis: Update..
Friday, 12 April 2019
Snippets from the eBook "The McCann's War" - “Daily Mirror”: Martin Fricker denies Martin Fricker
Martin Fricker and Rod Chaytor of the "Daily Mirror" signed a laudatory piece on May 5: “Officers sealed off the five-storey holiday block with crime scene tape and fingerprinted the shutters and window sill outside Maddy's room. A patio to the rear of the block, believed to be attached to the family's two-bedroom apartment, was also sealed off".
The same Martin Fricker, this time with the journalist Stewart Maclean, signed another article, on May 9: “Officers failed to cordon off the holiday apartment where Maddy was snatched as soon as they arrived. Amazingly, other tourists were allowed to stroll around the crime scene up to 24 hours later - potentially destroying clues and contaminating forensic evidence."

The Mirror pieces are no surprise.
They are clearly, obviously, beyond a reasonable doubt, following instructions and are part of a long campaign
As has been said elsewhere –
We have become inured to the McCann tactic of simple reversal of statements when the objective facts prove inconvenient
* The curtains were wide open - v - they were tight closed
* The abductor got in through broken shutters - v - he did not enter through the window
* Gerry entered through the locked front door - v - through the unlocked patio door
* They had no wristwatches - v - they checked the time by their watches
* We never lied to anyone - v - we told a lie about Gerry having a stomach complaint
But here we have objective facts being inconvenient to the campaign, so it is the facts which have to be changed, not the story

It is a very strange strategy, which is doomed to failure
If you change the story to fit the facts, there is not a lot people can do about it, except note the change and focus on it.
But if you change the facts to fit the story people can check, and look at photos and weather reports and satellite images
and prove that the 'new' alleged facts are false / wrong / mendacious / a series of deliberate lies.
which then shows that the story is false / wrong / mendacious / a deliberate lie.
