MADELEINE McCann’s parents faced fresh heartache today as a second criminal investigator claimed their daughter “died in the holiday apartment”.
American profiler Pat Brown brutally insisted “Madeleine is dead”, adding in an outrageous rant: “There’s no point spending all of this money as nothing they do is going to make that child be found alive.”
Maddie’s parents have faced intense scrutiny since their daughter disappeared nearly 10 years ago

Ms Brown’s intervention – without a shred of evidence – comes less than 24 hours after Portuguese crime expert Moita Flores voiced similar unfounded claims.
They piled fresh misery on Kate and Gerry as they prepare for the painful tenth anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance from their Algarve holiday flat in May 2007.
Ms Brown, 62, who runs a crime agency in the US, blasted Scotland Yard’s £11million Operation Grange probe into the case.
She told Australian website news.com.au she believes Maddie was never snatched, saying: “An abduction was extremely unlikely based on the amount of time, evidence at the scene and every other shred of evidence there has ever been.”
She believes the three-year-old died in an accidental death that was “covered up” through “neglect and possible medication.”
She added: “It’s my belief the body was moved to a desolate location and will never be found.”
The author and TV crime analyst spoke out after Scotland Yard was granted an extra £85,000 to fund the search for another six months as detectives seek to quiz another witness.

Ms Brown said: “There are other children missing in the UK who aren’t getting this attention that the money should have been spent on.”
Her astonishing attack continued as she claimed the Met Police made a mistake by ruling out suspects early on.
She told the website: “You only eliminate someone as a suspect if they have an alibi and could absolutely not have committed the crime. It shouldn’t be based on theories.
“Their focus was on finding a kidnapper. But the evidence supports the theory of an accident occurring through neglect and possible medication.”
She said that whilst there was “no evidence of an abduction” it couldn’t be ruled out.
Former GP Kate, 49, and heart doctor Gerry, 48, from Rothley, Leics, are clinging onto a glimmer of hope their daughter could still be alive. She would now be nearly 14.

“This so called criminal expert is regurgitating claims made by former Portuguese police officer Goncalo Amaral, she is repeating all the old assertions it seems for shock value.
“Kate and Gerry took legal action against Mr Amaral and they won the case, although they later lost it on appeal.
“They don’t want to be litigious, and they can’t sue everyone, but it appears that people are saying whatever they like.”

Although they use the predictable adjectives to distance themselves and keep their own powder dry, they are highlighting alternative narratives which has to be a good thing surely?  It's like someone else has loaded the gun and they fire the bullets. As for Dr Synnott, I really think he's looking increasingly misguided in my opinion and whilst it might have seemed like a good way to grab headlines at the time the way it's going makes him look increasingly foolish having chosen subjects who an increasing number of people are willing to implicate in Madeleine's disappearance.

I think so too. The papers are probably still afraid of getting sued, so they have to make a show of following the "official" line. But the information is there, and it's reaching the public.

Why haven't we 'heard' that Farter Cluck HAVE 'issued' a 'flurry' of writs against these 'so called'.. 'foreign, criminal experts'?

Andria Coulias ( correct spelling of her name is Andrea) is having far too much attention paid to her. Considering she's such an accomplished "researcher" there is very little about her on the internet, other than the usual FB and Twitter accounts, as one would expect from a 24 year old .

A CRIME expert who has analysed the high profile case of missing child Madeleine McCann claims the three-year-old was not abducted.
Investigative Criminal Profiler and Profile of the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann author Pat Brown told news.com.au that Scotland Yard bungled the investigation and slammed the crime fighting agency for “wasting time and money” on Madeleine’s case.
“Madeleine is dead,” Ms Brown said.
“There’s no point spending all of this money as nothing they do is going to make that child alive.”
While profiling the case, Ms Brown developed a theory about what happened to Madeleine.
“When I do a crime scene analysis it is a theory based on evidence to then be given to police and used to look for more proof and evidence suitable for prosecution,” she said.
“When I analysed (Madeleine’s) case, it led me to believe evidence does not support an abduction.
“An abduction was extremely unlikely based on the amount of time, evidence at the scene, and every other shred of evidence there has ever been.”
Ms Brown said Madeleine most likely died an accidental death that was “covered up”.


“The evidence supports the theory of an accident occurring through neglect and possible medication,” she said.
“It’s my belief the body was moved to a desolate location and will never be found.”
Ms Brown’s comments come after British police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann nearly 10 years ago were last week granted STG85,000 ($A136,935) to extend the search for a further six months.
The British Home Office has granted officers the funds to continue the probe until September.
There is one person who was near the area where Madeleine went missing who police want to speak to, the Sunday Express reported.
To date a total of STG11.1 million ($A17.9 million) has been spent looking for Madeleine.
“There are other children missing in the UK who aren't getting this attention that the money should have been spent on,” Ms Brown said.

Madeleine disappeared from the family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal as her parents Kate and Gerry McCann dined with friends at a nearby restaurant in May 2007. If alive, Madeleine would now be 13 years old.
Ms Brown said Scotland Yard investigators made a mistake by ruling out suspects early on.
“You only eliminate someone as a suspect if they have an alibi and could absolutely not have committed the crime,” she said.
“It shouldn’t be based on theories.”
Ms Brown said the biggest mistake investigators made was examining and reviewing the case working to the theory that Madeleine had been abducted.
“They came in with a purpose and stated there was an abductor,” she said.
“Their focus was on finding a kidnapper.”
Ms Brown said there was “no evidence of an abduction” but that didn’t mean it hadn’t occurred.
“On the other hand it doesn’t mean it did,” she said.
“But because there’s no evidence of an abduction one has to look at other possibilities as well.”

Ms Brown said it was “extremely unlikely” anyone from a child sex ring would have abducted Madeleine. She said children could be illegally bought in some poor areas or “easily taken from drug addicts and prostitutes”.
“Even blonde ones,” she said.
‘They’re not going to steal a British tourist from a holiday resort because they know that will prompt a major investigation into them.”

Kate and Gerry McCann, have always denied any involvement in her death and vowed to “never give up” hope of finding their daughter.
“As a parent of an abducted child, I can tell you that it is the most painful and agonising experience you could ever imagine,” Ms McCann wrote on the couple’s ‘find Madeleine’ website.
“My thoughts of the fear, confusion and loss of love and security that my precious daughter has had to endure are unbearable — crippling.
“And yet I am not the victim, Madeleine is.
“No child should ever have to experience something so terrible.”

Last month, Kate and Gerry McCann lost their appeal in Portugal’s Supreme Court over a controversial book by former detective Goncalo Amaral called The Truth of the Lie.
In it, he claimed Maddie had “died” and her abduction was a “cover-up”.
Amaral led the initial investigation into Madeleine’s apparent abduction.
The McCanns have lodged a formal complaint against the ruling and are reportedly considering taking their case to the European Court of Human Rights.
The parents are bracing themselves for the heart wrenching 10th anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance in just a few weeks.

So there! They won the case, apart from the appeal and that doesn't count - they still won. So don't go regurgitating Amaral's claims! Because the McCanns took him to court and they won, even though they lost! Be warned, evil trolls!

Whatever nonsense is written that article, Tracey is promoting the fact that other professionals besides Goncalo Amaral, also dispute the abduction tales.

It does the Sun no favours as it demonstrates the very low level of professionalism in their articles, it does the McCanns no favours either.
