One notes from all that one has learned about this case, that it is not actually Heaven, but the McCanns themselves who are trying to forbid this, via their allegations of libel which are currently being pressed in a Portguese court.

If this libel trial were to dare find Amaral has libelled the McCanns, there will be a terrifying number of ex-police officers and publishers being sued retrospectively for having written and published books regarding cases they have worked on. This is after all, merely an account of an investigation which was carried out by a group of police officers who were trying to find a child whom the parents had declared to have been abducted.

May one state once again for the record, that there is not a scintilla of evidence which would point any police officer in the direction of Madeleine having been abducted, unless we were to consider the Smiths' statements which the parents are not remotely interested in.

Absolutely not, and after having read the statements, one believes people have the right to make their own decision on this without having any libel firms telling them what to think. It is not up to police officers to make this decision for us either. One has never trusted the judgement of the police in Leicester in regard to these two statements of the Gaspars, and am in fact still most angry that not only were these statements not faxed to Portugal in the first instance, but that Leicester police are not even making amends today.

The very fact that this information has now been released into the public domain means that it may be discussed. Whether the McCanns and their idiotic supporters like it or not
