Google and GoFundMe boycott of GA appeal should write to GoFundMe and ask why
this account relevant code has also been omitted from their own website search
facility. I asked them if the McCanns' had threaten to sue them and on which
grounds. Concerning Google no point in bothering them. It's a corporation and no
doubt in-line with the McCanns.

Leanne should transfer all donations to the attorneys escrow account

Then she should open a second GoFundMe account, explaining the situation
If the second one folds as well, we'll know what incredible odds we're up against

But, with the money safely out of the way, at least dr Amaral has a fighting chance to walk away from this whole sorry mess a vindicated man

I don't think the first one has folded. I'm still finding it through my search history, with recent donations and comments.

Someone maliciously wrote code to exclude it from google searches, which makes it all but inaccessible to people who haven't already been to the page.

Did I misunderstood it that the problem was that there was no active facebook page? If that's the case the problem can be solved quickly, i presume.

Although optional, connecting your account to Facebook is highly recommended and makes sharing your campaign with others incredibly easy. A valid Facebook account is required for all campaigns that wish to appear within GoFundMe's Public Search Directory. Don't worry, we'll never post anything to your Facebook account unless you say so.

In other words, a valid facebook account must be attached to the fund if you wish to make your campaign appear within GFM's OWN PUBLIC SEARCH DIRECTORY. A facebook account or a lack thereof has no impact upon whether the campaign is searchable via google. A bot has to be inserted to prevent google searches of specific campaigns.

I've just created a test GoFundMe campaign using only email and not linking to a Facebook account, and my campaign page also contains the noindex and nofollow meta tags.
