Upset: April Jones' mother Coral has been blamed for her daughter's death on social media
April Jones’ mum Coral says her family has “had enough” after another mother blamed the five-year-old's murder on the fact that her parents let her out to play.
April was snatched by 47-year-old paedophile Mark Bridger while playing on her bike with friends a few hundred yards from her home on the Bryn-y-Gog estate in Machynlleth on the night of October 1, 2012.

I have never understood why Coral Jones became involved in Missing People and the Child Rescue Alert. The CRA would not have helped April who was abducted by a person known to her and her family. I can only think that Coral Jones was approached to join Missing People. I can't imagine Coral Jones and her husband calling Missing People to avail themselves.
The search for April was everything that is good about people and organisations. The local community were out in droves. People travelled across the country to assist in the search. Rescue organisations worked around the clock. The local church was opened for practical and spiritual help. The money that rolled in was handled responsibly and beyond reproach. April's parents acted with dignity throughout their pain. This was a community in Wales that shared the burden. The local Vicar was a complete star in her role and did not court the media.
Yet, after April was found and the bastard who killed her was jailed there was a book to be written. I wonder who encouraged the writing of a book? There was and still is, a media presence for Coral and her family and I have to ask why? Where is the healing in that? Of what precise benefit is it to Coral Jones and her family? Isn't there a single psychotherapist out there who would tell the Jones' that their lives are better out of the media spotlight? that their lives are better focussed in Machynlleth supported by their community? That their children and the children within their community need to get on with their lives? Or is the media and the greed of Missing People the new way to grieve?
I've seen this last week the most dreadful stuff in the media regarding a police officer who was murdered by a hit and run driver. The family have appeared in the papers. Why? just tell me why anyone would want to have their grieving children photographed for the papers to take flowers to the site of the accident? tell me why any mother would want a letter written by one of her children to her dead father to be published?
There are some very sick people on Twitter and Facebook but there is also a responsibility (I'll take some flak for this) to protect children from this 'crowd grief' extravaganza.

I too am in agreement with aquila's post.
I would not want anything to do with a book or money from a book. What use is it?
Unless of course it all went to a local charity, my view, I know others will differ.
April's father - it was reported - kept a diary of events. I don't think I would be able to do that either - reading it would rip my heart out and it was so very well documented by the media anyway. I would not ever want to read their account or see their account either.
Keep out of the media is my advice and well away from people offering advice. Nothing will bring April back and IMO they would begin the long process of "healing" if they kept well away from social media and the MSM.
If someone brings something to their attention - tell them they do not want to hear it - again my opinion. What use people bringing things to their attention if it is only going to cause more hurt and pain and why do the media need to be informed of it?
Crowd grief - it seems to have started with the death of Princess Diana with the laying of masses of flowers and teddy bears. I cannot understand it at all but IMO children should certainly be kept away from it all.

Such a sad end to this little girl's life! I hope April's mother and father can find some peace.
