The 'make-up photo'

The thing about the photo is, the McCann's saw nothing wrong with it.
To them it was just a photo of their child with makeup. 
I believe Kate put the makeup on Madeleine.
I believe it is an innocent photo, granted they also took and released some other inappropriate photo's of her but I believe they saw nothing wrong with them either.
They would not have let a photo that was anything but what they saw as innocent out in the public domain.
 I think they were wrong in the circumstances to release those photo's.
In my opinion, it is just a photo and too much is being made of it, I don't expect anyone to agree with me, but that is what I think.

I don’t like looking at that photo it makes feel very uneasy ,was it the very last photo taken of the poor child.

I don't know anyone who would take photo's of their children in such poses, let alone put them up for public scrutiny.
We are talking of people who thought it was perfectly fine to leave their children alone in an apartment whilst they went out to enjoy themselves though.

Nobody apart from me has ever bathed my children, I notice the McCann's never bathed the other kids.

All of the above is very disturbing, to say the least!

Kate (and Gerry ) clearly think this racist, misogynistic, and sexually explicit material is suitable for 2 and 3 year old children

I think I mostly agree with this too. Without any broader context or extra information, it is not really possible to be sure of anything with this photo even though it does seem a bit odd. We don't even know who took it. Was it even taken by the McCanns? Was it a genuine photo or retouched and to what extent? Were there any others taken at the same time? and many other mysteries...

I'm curious about what other photos are you referring to that you found inappropiate?

There are 2 other inappropriate photo's, one with Madeleine sucking a lolly and another called the Lolita photo.
I can't find them at the moment, perhaps someone on the forum will know where to locate them.
