How on earth can you possibly know this?

Are you seriously putting the above quote as your response to parents of a missing child trying to find her?

What puzzles me, Patty, is that when we ask why no-one is searching for the secret lair in PDL, given this is where the McCanns' chief detective is 'convinced' she is, we are attacked by 'pros'. Posters such as Flytrap talk about 'supporting the search' - where is this search and how, practically, do we support it?

You have to give them money Autumn. They can't be expected to physically search the lawless villages for a secret lair without money.

If you don't give them money then it's your fault that Maddy hasn't been found yet.

Does anyone, apart from a few poor deluded souls, actually believe them any more? No one that I've met lately.
I think the blatant demand for money, money, MORE MONEY from the public to fund a 'search' that is laughably non existent (posh spice lookalike anyone?) is starting to look crude and grubby. The continual arrogance that 'we' the public are to fund this 'search' when the vast majority of any fund money goes towards lawyers fees and PR, is frankly nauseating. It was made quite clear when the case was archived that there was no evidence whatsoever of an abduction and it was most likely that Madeleine was dead. To admit that she was probably dead though would mean they could no longer tout for cash, so the circus continues. The cheap shot of telling those who have read and understood from the files that Maddie is most likely dead that they 'wish' her dead points to a very sick mentality and a disturbing attitude towards those who dare to question the Mccanns motives.

Without a trace of abduction evidence, who are the really callously inhumane ones - Maddie's parents or their disbelievers?

Are you sure the parents are not the shameful ones with their charade and games?

Are you part of their family or connected to them? IF not, how do you know for sure whether there was any truth in the abduction theory?

People are free to form their opinions based on evidence and info, nothing shameful in that. The shameful ones are those who attack those with differing views from them.

And to co-incide with this years Christmas Appeal, they have posted up on their website, a festive photo of Madeleine aged 2-3 years old - another cute pic to tug at the heart strings. How deranged are they to use old photos in their appeals, do they really think people cannot see through this charade? Perhaps they should look at the comments on the Daily Mail website.

My Christmas message to the McCanns is please please please ask the PJ to re-open the case and offer to do all you can to assist them with their investigation.

The criteria for opening the case is laid out in the prosecutor's report.

At a recent press conference in Lisbon, Kate was asked if they would like the case to be re-opened. Kate shrugged and said it didn't matter whether it was re-opened or not. Hardly the response you would expect from the mother of a missing child.
As for the photo, they could have used the tennis ball pic which is, as far as I know, the last picture of her. Madeleine looks to be little older than 2 years old on the photo theyv used to accompany the Christmas Appeal thinking

If you are not interested in Madeleine being searched for and found. Why bother even going to the Findmadeleine website to see their Christmas Appeal?

But the Portuguese are Not Actively Searching for New Evidence, so Where Would It Come From? Nowhere! The Portuguese Have No Desire to Investigate the McCanns OR an Abductor.
