No, but she could hardly have died before May 2 to 3 night.

Are you serious?

Oldfield was the last one who "checked" the children at 9:25 PM right? How long did the check last and wasn't Gerry "watching Football" on one evening?

The Score 3:0 is crucial to some witnesses recollections. And that the English Team won
It is part of the evidence Bernt S. uses when homing in on late evening Wednesday 2nd into Thursday 3rd early hours of the morning.

With zero knowledge of football, can't you hear results and scorelines in pubs and restaurants?

Good question. Does the Tapas bar has TV to watch Football?
Do we know how long Oldfield's last check at 9:25 pm last and are we sure that Gerry was on the table between 9:00-10:00 pm (he checked the kids around 9:00 pm right?)

We have reasons to doubt that MO checked the MC kids around 9:30, but he said he did without adding how long it last !Justice for Maddie wrote:Oldfield was the last one who "checked" the children at 9:25 PM right? How long did the check last and wasn't Gerry "watching Football" on one evening?

I mean (my post #333) that you can be anywhere to know the results, not necessarily where you claim to be.

That's the question. Was he really "watching TV" or what did he do (disposal of the body?).

We don't know whether G watched the "footy" as K said in order, on May 3, to explain that G's check was longer that it used to (supposing he intended to dispose of the body at his 9:5 check). There was football on May 3 (Sevilla/Osasuna (UEFA).

Bluebagthepirate wrote:"The Crimewatch programme, as with the Channel 4 Documentary in 2009, rehearsed the McCanns’ account of events.
During the programme, the BBC mentioned that Martin Smith had once thought that the man he had seen that night was Gerry McCann, but said he had now ‘changed his mind’. "
Crimewatch 14 October 2013 : DCI Redwood invalidates G's cast-iron alibi, the only clue to the kidnapping. The MCs were now counting on the PJ's final report stating that, when K had raised the alarm, several witnesses had located G at the Tapas table. There is no reason to doubt this at 9.50pm. But the alibi of having been at dinner table is not of the same quality as that provided by the ‘Tannerman’ report. Did the author of the false information to the BBC (about Martin S having changed his mind) suspect that G's alibi was not indestructible?

According to Jane, K had suspected that G was watching the "footie", though nobody had noted that G was slow to come back. Nobody knows more than that.

Re: Latest from PeterMac's FREE e-book: CHAPTER 63 SMITH-GERRY-MAN SCRUTINISED
Richard Bilton lied on Panorama that The Smith family had changed their mind about the Smith sighting.Bluebagthepirate wrote:I checked.crusader wrote:I don't believe M Smith said any such thing.
It was on Panorama... the BBC later apologised and corrected it.
So the BBC got that wrong.
But anyway, why would he co-operate with the McCann investigators if he thought it was Gerry (actually he wasn't sure even by his own words).
By his own words he is 20 to 40% sure he is wrong.
And of course his kids disagreed with him 100%.
BBC Panarama was the the one time Gold Standard for investigative journalism in the UK and never made elementary mistakes .
We now know the BBC is/was controlled by MI5/MI6.
The failed attempt at propaganda by Bilton leads me to believe that the McCanns are being protected because of their Gaspar type connection to a high level politician.
John Reid , Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were in charge at he time.
