MADELEINE McCann's parents have revealed their torment as they face their 13th Christmas without "hugging" the missing youngster.
Kate and Gerry McCann posted an emotional list explaining what they miss most about their daughter, who vanished in Portugal in 2007.
And the couple, who have tirelessly fought to find out what happened to Maddie, revealed they have one wish this festive season: "Please help us get her home".
Writing on the official Find Maddie website, they said they have still "not lost hope that we may get to celebrate another Christmas with her".
And detailing the "reasons we miss Madeleine", heart doctor Gerry and ex-GP Kate, 51, added: "Holding her, hugging her, kissing the top of her head, lying next to her.
"Our complete family of five. Everything. We miss her."
The parents, who have 14-year-old twins Sean and Amelie, cling to a glimmer of hope that Maddie - who would be now aged 16 - could still be alive.
They have vowed to continue the worldwide hunt “for as long as it takes”.
Maddie disappeared in May 2007 from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal aged three while her parents dined with friends nearby.
She would have turned 16 on on May 12, 2019.
A number of potential leads have emerged since the little girl vanished, but none amounted to anything and no arrests have ever been made.
So far £11.6million has been spent on the search, with a further £150,000 released by the Home Office this year.
The couple faced fresh heartache this year when a troll posing as their missing daughter attacked them for simply eating out at a restaurant in Scotland with family.
They declared it “despicable” that their latest online abuser could hide behind a mask and continue to torment them in an ongoing campaign of web hate.
Kate is understood to have been among supporters at Monday night’s Missing People carol concert in London.
Their latest message of hope comes after a Portuguese detective who starred in the Netflix documentary about her disappearance was caged for planning violent break-ins.
Paulo Pereira Cristovao, who once angered the family with a controversial book, was convicted of participating in the planning of burglaries in Lisbon and Cascais.

Madeleine McCann’s parents have revealed their torment as they face a 13th Christmas without ‘holding’, ‘hugging’ and ‘kissing’ her.
In an emotional post on the official Facebook page of the campaign to find their missing daughter, Kate and Gerry revealed their family does not feel complete without her.
And they made a fresh heart-tugging plea to the world to: “Please help us get her home”.
The couple’s message on the website is headlined: “Reasons we miss Madeleine’’.
The plea was released on the Official Find Madeleine Campaign webpage (Image: Facebook)
The McCanns – who have 15-year-old twins – catalogue the precious interactions they have missed with their daughter since she vanished, aged three, on a family holiday in Portugal in May 2007.
“Holding her, hugging her, kissing the top of her head,’’ they say.
“Lying next to her. Our complete family of five. Everything. We miss her. Please help us get her home.’’
The post on the Official Find Madeleine Campaign webpage earned thousands of messages of support from across the globe.
Many people admitted they were moved to tears and sent emojis of prayers, kisses and broken hearts.
Susan Reeves wrote: “Lovely words made me cry. Love and hugs from me.’’
Many wished the missing youngster – who would now be 16 – a “Merry Christmas”.
Madeleine vanished from her family’s holiday apartment in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz while her parents, now both 51, were in a nearby tapas bar.

Re: Madeleine McCann’s parents reveal torment as they face 13th Christmas without ‘hugging’ their missing daughter
"Holding her, hugging her, kissing the top of her head"
as Kate last did on the morning of Monday 30th April after they had found her behind the sofa.
Held her and hugged her, transferring cadaverine onto her T shirt and shorts.
I can only imagine the grief and anguish Kate must have felt at that moment,
whilst Gerry went into full professional mode, put the twins back into their cots,
closed the door, dug out the blue tennis bag and emptied it in readiness.
For Kate, knowing this would be the last time she saw Madeleine, it must have been heartbreaking.
And then later she moved from grief to rage, doing harm to herself and furniture in the process.
We sympathise. We really do.
I watched my parents when they lost a son. I have seen it. I have experienced something similar.
It is what happened afterwards that we find difficult to forgive or understand.
It is never too late to do the right thing

But I bet your parents didn't do this:
Cos it's just not normal, even if Madeleine really had been abducted.

Re: Madeleine McCann’s parents reveal torment as they face 13th Christmas without ‘hugging’ their missing daughter
What about?
Madeleine McCann's torment as she faces 13th Christmas without ‘hugs’ from her family?
What Madeleine McCann must be missing most about her family.
The couple, who have tirelessly pretended to find out what happened to Maddie, revealed they have one wish this festive season: "Please help us keep up the pretence of trying to get her home".
Writing on the official Pretend to Find Maddie website, they say they have still "not lost hope that we may get to celebrate another Christmas with her".
And detailing the "reasons we miss Madeleine", heart doctor Gerry and ex-GP Kate, 51, added: "Holding her, hugging her, kissing the top of her head, lying next to her. - Sounds like something from a Gaspar statement
"Our complete family of five. Everything. We miss her."
The parents, who still have 14-year-old twins Sean and Amelie (despite an early visit from Social services), cling to a glimmer of hope that we never find out that Maddie - who would be now aged 16 - is not alive.
They pretend to continue the worldwide hunt “for as long as it takes”.
Maddie disappeared in April 2007 from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in Portugal aged threewhile her parents dined with friends nearby.
She would have turned 16 on on May 12, 2019.
A number of potential leads have emerged since the little girl vanished, but all were false leads, some engineered by the McCanns Private investigators. No arrests will ever been made.
So far £11.6million has been wasted on pretending to search and to exonerate the McCanns, with a further £150,000 released by the Home Office this year.
A fake news outlet reported that the couple faced fresh heartache this year when they ran a story of troll posing as their missing daughter and attacking them for simply eating out at a restaurant in Scotland with family.
They declared it “despicable” that their latest online abuser could hide behind a mask and continue to torment them in an ongoing campaign of web hate.
Of course, this doesn't mean that he was bad at his job in general or even wrong about his conclusions on this case. Was he framed in a bid to discredit the PJ?

And now for something completely different..

They are set to spend their ninth Christmas without their daughter since she disappeared in Portugal in 2007.
Now Kate and Gerry McCann have released a moving list of the things they miss about Madeleine as part of a campaign for the charity Missing People alongside 11 other families.
The couple paid tribute to their little girl's 'eyes, smile, laughter, dimples, sense of humour, smartness and singing'.
They also describes how they missed styling her hair, chasing her round the garden, sharing her excitement in the run up to Christmas, spoiling her on her birthday and their 'complete family of five'.
The couple also described how they miss holding Madeleine, hugging her and kissing the top of her head.
Madeleine was three years old when she disappeared from a holiday apartment in the Portuguese holiday resort of Praia de Luz.
Her parents were eating dinner with friends 50 metres away and raised the alarm when Kate McCann went back to check on Madeleine and her twin sister and brother Sean and Amelie and realised she was missing.
Since then lines of inquiry have been explored including the theory that Madeleine was abducted by a paedophile, killed during a bungled burglary or that she wandered out of the apartment and was accidentally killed.
The Metropolitan Police was tasked with investigating the disappearance after her family made a personal plea to David Cameron in 2011.
Yet despite dozens of trips by officers to the Algarve, the inquiry – codenamed Operation Grange – has not led to any arrests and her disappearance remains a mystery.
The McCanns were one of 12 families that took part in the initiative, with photos displayed as part of the charity Missing People's Home for Christmas exhibition in London.
The exhibition formed part of the charity’s annual Home for Christmas Appeal which aims to raise £20,000 this year.
It aimed to raises awareness of the issue of missing in the build up to Christmas – a time of togetherness which many families describe as being the most painful.
Photographer James O Jenkins said: 'Photographing the different families for this exhibition showed me that this is a situation that can occur to any family no matter what background or area you are from.'
Each family was photographed by the door of their home to symbolise the hope their missing parents, sibling son or daughter will come home for Christmas.
And they have all written a personal message they hope their missing loved one will somehow see.

it really is quite nauseating.
THEY want to hug HER.
Have they ever thought that after all this time she might have realised that they were doing nothing much to recover her, and that
SHE might not want to hug THEM

The horror show of a couple who describes Madeleine as being a lively angel abducted by a ghost who came out of the blue.
An angel, a victim who could imitate people and characters of those who hugged her, who felt guilty and became liars behaving like the Innocent Ones, the pathological double binded unification of two criminal minds.
A vow till death do us part.

If this is the diagram from the newspaper, I am frankly AMAZED that tthey have pointed out the blue sofa that the dogs 'alerted to'. It does not state just what they alerted to-and thus raises many questions.
And I thought the Tapas bar was across the swimming pool?

"The window and shutters were the main source of the investigation . . ."
Even assuming they mean the main FOCUS, they were dismissed within a few hours, and even Maximumus Mendax Mitchell admitted they have nothing to do with anything.
But labelling the blue sofa is wonderful . [I nearly wrote libelling !]
And the front door label is wrong, and the Tapas bar label, and the location of the Pool Photo, and - and - and
But apart from that . . . we have the SOFA ! √ √ √ √
