Missing Maddie investigation has new suspect ‘in the frame’
Friday May 3 has seen the habitual flurry of news stories on missing Madeleine McCann – but nothing has been more ‘sensational’ than the report in a Portuguese tabloid newspaper claiming PJ police have a new suspect in the frame.
Correio da Manhã suggests there is suddenly a whole new set of clues which has seen manpower beefed as the PJ works in “absolute secrecy”.
This is the 12th anniversary of the most baffling missing persons case of modern times – and by coincidence the Resident was informed last week by a independent source investigating the mystery that he had passed new information to lead Portuguese investigator, Drª Helena Monteiro, working out of the PJ headquarters in Porto.
Our source told us that he had spoken on the telephone from Holland with Monteiro for over 40 minutes.
Whether his information may have tipped the balance is not clear, but the book he brought out with his findings has now been uploaded online (click here).
Says CM, the new theory does not focus on any involvement by Maddie’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann who have endured endless criticism over social media since their daughter’s disappearance from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz exactly 12 years ago.
“The Public Ministry admits these new lines of investigation are strong and could lead to clearing up the case altogether”, says the paper.
However, “even within the kidnap scenario” now being probed “authorities are very doubtful” that Madeleine – who would be 15 now, close to her 16th birthday – “is still alive”.
UK papers have picked up CM’s exclusive which comes hot-on-the-heels of a Netflix documentary aired last month.
Elsewhere, other media sources have said that police in the UK investigating the case are due to request another tranche of funding.
So far in England, the Maddie investigation (Operation Grange) is understood to have cost almost £12 million.
In Portugal it is much more difficult to come up with a total for funds spent as detectives tasked with investigating have a block budget that caters for other missing persons cases at the same time.
The Maddie case was reopened in Portugal two years after Grange’s inception in 2011.

I don't understand this at all. If the case is closer to being solved by the Portugese police why have Op Grange applied for more funding?

Re: Natasha Donn: Missing Maddie investigation has new suspect ‘in the frame’
Hi, yes the annual ' reinvigorate the story' time of year is here again, with predictably a new lead ! OP Grange heading for more funding yet the Portuguese nearly have it solved, bless 'em.
How can our media not spot such nonsense ?
Why ? Because they are in on it , what else ?
I understand my views on here have little or no support but like many I have studied this case , using more hours of my life than I care to count and can come to the one and only conclusion that my brain can countenance and that is that the whole tale is fake.
Totally fake. From the holiday to now. No Madeleine, the MS arent a real couple in my view. The tapas gang and Murat , all actors long since left the stage.
It's a media psy op designed to do exactly what it's done
See how big a lie the media can create and see how long it lasts, see how ridiculous you can make it , without Jo Public working it out.
Control the media and you can do just about anything.
I genuinely believe the whole thing is a fake.
The Ms have no back story we know nothing about them.
We just see the odd photo and appearance when the media needs to reinvigorate the story.
It's all total nonsense.
My theory makes far more sense than anything I've ever read.
Does anybody agree?
Feel free to discredit it ( with logic).
Thank you , have a good day
I dont need yo state that it's my own view because obviously it is . The endless repeating of that is tiresome.

So Peter Scharrenberg rears his ugly head again.
I wasted my money on his last book ' The Impossible Abduction, Madeleine, The Truth is Out There' and have just had a look at it. It's filled with post it notes of errors, yet now it looks as though he's had an about face and decided it wasn't 'the impossible abduction' after all.

I've asked him if it's about the German paedo, waiting reply.

And there lies the key!
Can't anyone see that all this latest blitzing emanates from the Netflix production - the latest storyline, to add to all the others collected en-route?
Can't anyone see that the Netflix production is heavily weighted with clan McCann influence?
If you do a jigsaw you have to fit all the pieces in the rightful place otherwise you will never successfully complete the puzzle. You can't just pick up random bits, look and think 'ah yes, here's a bit of blue sky - it must go up there somewhere'. Without the surrounding bits it amounts to nothing.
That's how many people across the board view this case - they pick up on the latest rubbish without any consideration of, or association with what's gone on in the past.
It's all just media hype orchestrated by a 'source close to the family'.

Re: Natasha Donn: Missing Maddie investigation has new suspect ‘in the frame’
Let us spell this out in as little medical detail as we can to make it clear,
NEY, the german murderer of 3, is attracted to young BOYS. He had been convicted of murdering 3, aged 8 and 9, and is suspected of involvement with a 4th, missing from a beach in Portugal.
A 4th BOY, in the same preferred age range.
And his MO is totally different as well, picking the children up in the open air at holiday camps
A 3 yr old GIRL is not within his range, and the MO is wrong.
Which is clearly why he was eliminated last time they spoke to him.
Paraphilias and perversions are highly specific to gender and age range.
So much so that they are categorised with different names
Infanto-philia, Nepio-philia, Hebe-philia, Paedo-philia, Child abuse, and then USI, and so on.
Perverts are not Politically Correct. They are highly specific in their fantasies, hence all the stories about stalking, lying in wait
They don't grab the next "person". It has to be exactly the right one and fit their criteria exactly.
If you want to feel slightly queasy try

SOCIETY
Maddie. PJ verifies information received by Scotland Yard
03.05.2019 às 11:23
The Judiciary Police is following an information received in the United Kingdom by Scotland Yard and sent recently to Portugal in the case of Madeleine McCann, the Expresso learned from a judicial source.
According to the same source, this is a complaint made about a foreigner who was in Portugal in May 2007, the date of the disappearance of the English girl from the tourist complex of Luz beach in the Algarve.
The suspect is not unknown to the Portuguese police. At the time, the Judiciary even investigated him on suspicion of involvement in pedophilia cases but now in the light of this information coming from London investigators are deepening the case. "This is a line of research that remains open, just like other lines," explains the same source.
Expresso knows that PJ has verified all the information it receives from abroad since it is the only criminal police body with jurisdiction to investigate the case in national territory. The inspectors have also heard several witnesses.
The Attorney General's Office confirmed Friday that the Madeleine McCann case is underway and "with active lines of investigation". The investigation is in charge of the Portimão section of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DIAP) of Faro.
Late in the morning, the PJ sent a statement to the newsrooms about the case. "The investigation into the disappearance of an English child, held in Praia da Luz in 2007, remains open, in the context of an investigation supervised by the Public Prosecutor of Portimão."
Also according to the Judiciary, this investigation has been developed in articulation with international authorities, "obeying the rules of judicial and police cooperation, which the circumstances of the situation justify."
The Judiciary Police adds that "in the interest of the investigation, it does not consider timely the provision of additional clarifications".
According to statements by Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, who from a certain point headed Operation Grange, the investigation of the case set up by the British authorities, this aggressor "had dark skin, tanned, short, black and careless hair", being who spoke to the children "mainly in English".
From what the girls told their parents later, the man entered the room with a kind of medical mask. The child will have said, "Are you, Papa?" He spoke English and said 'yes,' but with a foreign accent. "
Expresso confronted Operation Grange's team in London and the Judiciary Police in Portugal about these clues explored in the documentary, but in both cases the answer was that it was not appropriate to provide any information at this time.
This Friday, the "Correio da Manhã" noticia that the Public Ministry confirms that the investigation to the case counts " with lines of active investigation ".
The English girl was reported missing on the night of May 3, 2007 from an apartment on Luz Beach where she was on vacation with her parents and two siblings. If you are alive you will be 15 years old today.
The parents came to be constituted defendants at the beginning of the case but the lines of investigation followed other directions. Theses of kidnapping or an assault that went wrong appear as likely among PJ and Scotland Yard investigators.
In the United Kingdom, Operation Grange, which started in 2013, has already had an expenditure of £ 11,75 million (about 13,6 million euro). According to The Telegraph newspaper, in November the Home Office secured an additional £ 150,000 to British researchers.

NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY
Netflix debuted an eight-episode documentary series on case research in March. In the last episode is referred as one of the suspects of the case a sexual predator who would be making victims in the Algarve when Madeleine McCann disappeared.According to statements by Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, who from a certain point headed Operation Grange, the investigation of the case set up by the British authorities, this aggressor "had dark skin, tanned, short, black and careless hair", being who spoke to the children "mainly in English".

Re: Natasha Donn: Missing Maddie investigation has new suspect ‘in the frame’
It's all a diversion to re-route attention.
Funny really when you consider there was never any evidence to suggest, let alone prove, that Madeleine McCann was abducted.
The parents McCann set the ball rolling from the very beginning .... abduction by paedophile. Probably the last thing a frightened parent would care to think having found their three year old child missing, nevertheless that's what the McCanns insisted was the most likely scenario. That if I might add, was within minutes/hours of Kate McCann's alert.
This is a clan McCann initiative - they've been at it since 3rd May 2007. Why change the habit of a lifetime?

I have seen some front pages today with their breathless, lurid headlines.
I don't think we should give them any credence or waste any energy by trying to refute them. You could write reams as to why it is all nonsense, but it isn't going to stop the media appetite for repeating nonsense.
Alas...

Yes, Brunt is talking about two "suspects" and Amaral said that the German was known to PJ back in the days and PJ had already looked into to this guy.Roidininki wrote:Martin Brunt tells a story of a different suspect on remand ,so not Ney .

Ney is nowhere to find in the files.
The rumors about Ney started very soon after CdM published the article about a "German suspect."
Hours later the tabloid media around the world published Martin Ney as a "suspect" in this case and Mitchell was not late to come along but I believe the tabloid media was fooled big time here.
The media also claims that Ney lived and worked in Portugal in 2007 but I've done some research in this guy and he lived and worked in Hamburg 2000-2008 and none of his Hamburg working mates or employer says he moved to Portugal during this period.
This would be the German guy Amaral was talking about and probably the two Brunt is talking about.
Another example how unreliable the dogs....erm...the media is.

German triple child-killer is 'NOT the new Madeleine McCann suspect being probed by police', Portuguese media claim
Child sex killer Martin Ney is not the new Madeleine McCann suspect Portuguese police are investigating, it was claimed today.
Convicted triple-murderer Ney, 48, was reportedly named as a 'person of interest' by Portuguese police following a tip off from Scotland Yard.
The killer, known as the 'masked man', is said to have visited the Algarve region and travelled extensively throughout Portugal in the 1990s.
However leading Portuguese tabloid Correio da Manha claimed that Ney was not the 'new suspect' currently being investigated by detectives.
It reported today: 'A German paedophile, serving life for the murder of three children and the sexual abuse of dozens more youngsters, was named by the British press as a Madeleine McCann suspect.
More blah blah blah here: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6996605/New-Madeleine-McCann-suspect-Praia-da-Luz-time-vanished.html

Of course it's all newspaper lies, right on cue.
All the actors involved in this fake are wheeled out at this time of year to breathe just a little more life into this fabrication.
They then sit back and laugh at the endless hours of reaction it provokes , not least from people who spend half their lives trying to solve a mystery that never existed in the first place.
There are a growing number across social media , with whom the penny has dropped that this whole thing from the very start is a fake story.

And sometimes, just sometimes, we can trace the source of the Newspaper Lies back to at least one source.
One which is not pretending to Quote from other sources.
One which invented material and sold it to the highest bidder.
And sometimes, just sometimes, there is documentary evidence in the form of contemporaneous video tape to PROVE the lies beyond a reasonable doubt. So we can be Certain, so that we are Sure, that they are lying in a deliberate and calculated way
Step forward Jon Clarke of the Olive Press.
Exposed as a liar.
Disgraced as a journalist
Humiliated as a human
Purveyor of printed Parrot-cage paper and coloured cat-litter

Re: Natasha Donn: Missing Maddie investigation has new suspect ‘in the frame’
Jill has been tweeting with Joanna today and highlighted this Telegraph story, but I don't think she has posted it here.
Is there any evidence that GA has ever said such a thing?
I also don't believe the PJ have 'repeatedly stressed' any such thing either, just the 'not suspects' thing just before they were made arguidos.
PS.
Sorry just found it in the Express thread, but it seems to have been swallowed up by subsequent posts and generally missed.
