Same old accessories wrist band jewellery cat why do they still choose to keep the soft toy visible

For Paulo Sargento, the thesis that Gonçalo Amaral revealed at first hand to "SP" that the blanket could have been used in a funeral ceremony at the Luz chapel "is very interesting".
And he adds: "In reality, when the McCanns went to Oprah's Show, the blanket was mentioned. At a given moment, when Oprah tells Kate that she heard her mention a blanket several times, Kate argued that a mother who misses a child always wants to know if she is comfortable, if she is warm, and added, referring to Maddie, that sometimes she asked herself if the person who had taken her would cover her up with her little blanket (but the blanket was on the bed after Maddie, supposedly, disappeared!!!).

If you put the photo into Google images there are other places you can find it.

I notice Kate is carrying a work of art produced by either Amelie or Sean.We were never given any works of art from Madeleine during her creche days.Really surprises me that does, they would have been a good marketing ploy to pull at the purse strings, whoops heart strings.

Thank you.
So Amelie aged about 4/5 (?) with cuddlecat?
Even if it’s an ‘imposter’ it beggars belief, unless we get back to the ‘wasn’t actually MM’s toy’ in the first place.

Re: I hope this isn't Maddie's cuddlecat
This photograph was obviously pre-arranged for the benefit of the press and to prey on public sympathy as little Amelie clutches her missing sisters favourite toy.
Over the years, there would have been other toys and Amelie would have her own favourite. Obviously, she was given cuddlecat to hold at that moment in time. Given her age when Madeleine disappeared, I very much doubt that Amelie would remember much about her but wouldn't her mother have kept her favourite toy for her return?
The words "child exploitation" come to mind

Responsible owners should ensure that their cats don't produce too many kittens!

I believe there were already some extra cuddle cats hanging around before that.

Weren't the McCann PI's or the journalists once walking around PDL with cuddlecats? I would need to check this but I wouldn't be surprised if cuddlecat was a marketing tool or a prop for the media. Weren't there around 40 of them in circulation?
I doubt that Madeleines' favourite toy really was cuddlecat but I do believe that there is at least one picture of her with the toy.

Great point Nina. Another one to add to the long list of reasons supporting an early demise.

I know it has been asked before, but re-reading those headlines has it ever been explained why Mrs. now believes that Maddie is alive and there is no evidence of any harm to the poor little mite?ROSA wrote:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Kate no longer carries cuddle cat but still holds Gerry's hand.
