McCanns Secret Meeting With Theresa May .......Or something like that.

If that is true, can HO confirm date of that meeting?
If it's secret why are mccanns allowed to announce it in the Press?
Wouldn't it be more appropriate for HO to announce Ian Lister's statement that investigation on the case is still ongoing in UK ?
Can the Home office confirm if this statement in the press is true - "A Home Office source said yesterday: "Kate and Gerry were given renewed hope that their daughter will be found."....the Sun
What does that statement mean? On what basis is the HO in a position to promise hope that Madeleine will be found? By that, is the HO saying UK investigation is focusing only on abduction theory?
Also, in view of the ongoing investigation, shouldn't HO advise the mccanns to leave it in the hands of the police, and to stop blabing to the Press?
One way or another Home office should make their position clear.

Parents of missing Madeleine McCann meet Home Secretary
The parents of missing girl Madeleine McCann have met Home Secretary Theresa May to discuss the search.
Madeleine, from Rothley, Leicestershire, disappeared from a holiday flat in Praia da Luz on the Algarve in May 2007, aged three.
Before the meeting on Wednesday, Kate and Gerry McCann had called for an independent review of the case.
Details of the talks have not been released but the couple had complained about the amount of help offered.
In February they said they had encountered "reluctance" when asking the British authorities to re-examine the information held by law enforcement agencies around the world.
Private detectives
A Home Office spokesman said: "The Home Secretary held a private meeting with Kate and Gerry McCann on Wednesday to discuss the case of their missing daughter Madeleine.
"The government's primary concern in this matter is the wellbeing of Madeleine McCann, and to ensure that everything feasible is being done to progress the search for her."
The talks follow on from the couple's meeting with Prime Minister David Cameron before the General Election.
An investigation by Portuguese police was formally shelved in July 2008 without reaching any firm conclusions about the child's fate.
Private detectives employed by the McCanns are continuing to investigate the case.

The bolded statement says it all! The pairs a joke!
Do they really expect police to check with all law enforcement agencies around the world to follow up some bogus sightings? Yet that's headed as a full review of the investigation!
Reexamining information held by global agencies is hardly full review of the case is it? It's just their blimkey agenda! No wonder the police are ignoring them !!
