Robert Murat articles on MF website
The entire 122-page article on Robert Murat has now been posted on The Madeleine Foundation website, in six instalments.
Despite its criticism of Murat for his astonishing 17 changes of story about the events of early May. when interviewed by the Portuguese police for a second time on 10 and 11 July. and its questioning of his discussions with Brian Kennedy in November 2007 and many other aspects of his conduct, there has been no reaction to the article from Murat and his lawyers and there has been I think almost no comment about the contents on the 'pro' forums:

We have had a few reports that some people whose computers are configured a certain way cannot download our articles.
I would be grateful if you could check again and let me know if there is still a failure, thanks very much.

Tony
That link also doesn't work for me, but I can go directly to the website and find all the articles on the 'articles' link.

Thank you. I understand from the person who edits the website that an attempt will be made to put the articles in 'html', whatever that means, maybe that will improve things.ufercoffy wrote: Tony

Re: Robert Murat articles on MF website
Hi Tony,
I tried the link again just now and got the same 404 error. I'm thinking this may be because of the browser i'm using, as when I copied and pasted the link into different browser article came up just fine.
I was using firefox when I got the 404 error.

Jane Tanner's identification of Robert Murat 13 May 2007
Just out of interest, I report here the following exchange on 'Raptors' today (by the way, the 'pro's over there are currently devouring each other on a hatefest thread which currently has 284 posts):

re: "Hmmm! Well, according to Mr Bennett himself, Jane Tanner waited 10 days before accusing Robert Murat of being the man she saw whisking Madeleine away.
According to the files, Jane Tanner told police about the man she saw the day after Madeleine was abducted, but without mentioning the name of Robert Murat.
Who to believe? Tough one".
REPLY: Pardon me if I step in for a moment amongst the bickering, backbiting and backstabbing of people supposedly opposed to, er 'hate' forums.
Jane Tanner claimed to have seen a man wearing mustard chinos at around 9.15pm on Thuirsday 3 May.
On Sunday 13 May 2007, after speaking earlier in the day with Leicestershire Police's Bob Small and two men from Control Risks Group, she told PJ cops that she was certain, or 'adamant', that Robert Murat, who walked past a police van with a two-way mirror, was the man she'd seen 10 days earlier in mustard chinos.
The following day, acting on that identification evidence (and other indications), Goncalo Amaral and his team pulled Murat in for questioning.
Later, after around November 2007, Jane Tanner began to gradually distance herself from her previous identification of Murat. All this is fully documented in our 122-page article about Murat on The Madeleine Foundation website.
