Jon Gaunt - potential ally

Anyone remember former talk-radio host Jon Gaunt?

Not everyone's cup of tea but - having found himself exiled by MSM for simply speaking his mind - he has recently resurfaced...and with an axe to grind against the establishment and mainstream media.

He recently began producing daily podcasts from his bedroom which have proved so successful that he has now received sufficient backing to launch a revolutionary 'free speech radio' which is due to go live in the next week or two.

Why is this relevant to this forum?

Well Gaunt was one of the few MSM figures prepared to speak his mind about the McCanns from the outset, memorably ripping into Clarence Mitchell live on air once.

His attacks have usually been from the 'class bias'/neglect standpoint, but he hinted in one of his recent podcasts that he is far from convinced of their innocence and he also deplores the way the way they have 'manipulated' the media.

I'm writing this because Gaunt is nobody's fool or puppet, and the McCann case is tailor-made content for his new radio concept.

I wouldn't know where to start, but all it needs is some of you to start emailing him the most damning evidence against the McCanns - YouTube videos/Gaspar statement/49 unanswered questions etc.

I seriously think Gaunt would relish the kudos of going places no other MSM figure has gone before with this case.

I remember his daytime radio show on what was then Talk Radio I believe (now Talksport)

It was sometimes entertaining as he did frequently challenge those that others didn't and I do remember a programme on the McCanns where he was anything other than supportive. Significantly this was after the media tide had turned to support them. IIRC he quite often said he had to be careful what he said (restrictions were already in place) but was heavily critical of the loving couple re their admitted negelct etc - I'd guess this late 2007/early 2008 and yes, have recollections of Mitchell being on air as a 'guest'

I have had a little search online trying to find the audio of Jon Gaunt ripping Clarence a new one back in 2008. So far all I could find were whoooooshing noises lol4

He clearly did rip Clarence a new one as he has been speaking out of it ever since

Maybe JMR, who joined the forum today to encourage us to send the most damning evidence against the McCanns to Jon Gaunt, could have a good read and familiarise him/herself with the case and then send an email to JG.
