Esther Rantzen to be made a Dame in New Year Honours list

It makes me want to throw up. Let's have a little reminder of this "upstanding" woman who the British establishment believes is worthy of a gong.

When questioned about the most prolific, filthiest paedophile this country has ever known, this is what this woman, who is honoured in recognition for her services to Childline, said:

Rantzen admitted that she "heard the rumours at the time, referring to it as 'green room gossip', the implication being that it was classier to ignore it"

So, there you have it. It's "classier" to ignore child abuse, and in doing so, one gets made a dame.

Where ARE we going????

Absolutely appalling decision , to me personally the honours list means nothing these days very few deserve deserve the titles bestowed on them , looking back through history at some of the greats then comparing it to the celebrities of today ...its both tragic and farcical... A true indicator of what this country has become. sad

IMO the reason she set up Child Line was that her conscience kept pricking her because she did **** all about Savile at the time when she could have done.

But hell give her a gong for services for, 'not rocking the boat'.

Sickening but not in the least bit surprising.

This individual has made my skin crawl since I was a child myself watching "That's Life" and her other regular appearances on tv. I used to think she was a very poor taste female impersonater.

I recall reading on a forum a few years ago about Rantzen's garden parties at her Hampstead home and also her country residence and how quite often there were underage person's there imbibing alcohol etc along with her powerful friends.

A pack of sordid lies, I am sure.

Esther is, after all, interested in children from a purely protective urge.

Just read that old rancid had a relationship with the late Sir Nicholas Fairbairn...who has been accused of raping a 4 year old and who is also allegedly linked with Elm House.

Esther and her campaigns for children....the campaign for rubber mats in playgrounds etc. I can remember them. Then came Childline - Saint Esther was born - all part of the good old BBC - that's Buggering Boy Children btw.

Esther has moved onto a campaign for loneliness now. There's nothing worse than being lonely when you're a child and you're sexually/physically abused - absolutely nothing.

Esther has left the realms of spearheading Childline, supports her mates at the BBC, has spoken up (please correct me if I'm wrong) on behalf of a certain popular artist who sang about crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living dolls.

Esther has been made a dame!

I am sure that there are many more that can added to this list. The only thing that needs to change is the meaning of the word "honoured"
