I don't think it's likely that she was threatened.

Granted, she was one of the very few Portuguese journalists who asked very relevant questions regarding this case.

The other journalists cannot even make an effort to interview people properly, and go with whatever story they are fed with.

However, the fact that's she's joining forces with the likes of Jon Clarke makes me think she has been corrupted.

No blame seems to be put on the private investigators, Scotland Yard and other investigative journalists who were associated with this case.

This latest documentary is, unsurprisingly, part of the perception management programme that seeks to bring more people into the belief system that Madeleine was the victim of an abduction by a third party, mainly a pedophile.

Anything that takes your focus away from looking at the group of people who were the closest to Madeleine McCann - her parents and their Tapas 7 friends.

Madeleine McCann: The Hunt For The Prime Suspect aired on Thursday evening and saw both UK and German authorities give the latest information in the case that has shocked the world over for more than ten years.

The one-off episode on ITV sparked much conversation on social media, leading many to give their opinions on what they thought happened, but also united in their sadness at the case. Many expressed their devastation at the case of Madeleine not being solved yet, with one person tweeting they were "heartbroken."

Taking to twitter, one person wrote: "Whatever anyone thinks what happened to that poor little girl, it's heartbreaking #MadeleineMcCann," while another added: "Watching this documentary and so sad! The grief her parents have gone through!" A third viewer echoed the sadness at the case, commenting: "No matter what anyone thinks of the disappearance of #MaddieMcCann, you have to remember that a little girl went missing and must have been so scared."

In the documentary, viewers saw authorities uncover and examine new shocking evidence that has arisen in their investigation, in particular relating to their prime suspect, Christian Brückner. A mobile phone, that was previously thought to belong to Brückner, was found to have been 'pinged' by a cell phone tower in Praia da Luz on the night she went missing. In the synopsis, however, ITV stated: "The Portuguese police were not able to connect Christian Brückner and his prepaid mobile phone to the cell tower data and they declined to comment on the claims made in this programme. In an earlier statement they said their investigation into Madeleine's disappearance continues in conjunction with UK and German authorities."

Viewers also saw UK authorities reflect on their case that has been opened and closed more than once in the past, and any mistakes that were made along the way. Graham Hill, a former detective with Surrey Police believes despite 13 years passing, lessons have not been learned by the forces involved in terms of working together. He said: "I'm not so sure that much or anything different will be done because I'm not so sure we've learned the lessons."

One month ago, the German prosecutor was saying in the Australian programme that:

"We have strong have evidence that Madeleine McCann is dead and that our suspect killed her (...) we don't have the body and no parts of the body, but we have enough evidence to say our suspect killed Madeleine McCann"

Now, he's saying they need to know who Christian Brueckner contacted on May 3 2007, so they could finally get a conviction.

I'm lost.

Get a conviction where?

The disappearance took place in Portugal. If a crime has been comitted there, it's there that's going to be investigated.

He allegedly made a phone call , he was or wasn't living nearby , he had or might have had various vehicles , he allegedly made random comments to various random people who have all come out of the woodwork 13 years on to get their five minutes of fame and line their pockets !

He's been " connected " to just about every unsolved crime going , over several years .

The media feeding frenzy culminating in last night's mockumentary already has him as guilty , ignoring everything the PJ investigated and documented ,PJ Files ? What are they?
The dogs and no evidence of abduction are still being ignored , PJ are still incompetent and not cooperating ( why should they ?)
Breukener is still in prison , apparently in solitary , they haven't spoken to him , good for him if he is refusing to talk to them ( I'm not condoning anything he has done ) but this is trial by media who are doing everything they can to convince the public Madeleine was abducted and killed by this man and the " poor parents " are innocent !

The sheeple have only been fed a diet of the abduction theory and nothing else will be entertained regardless. So, on the face of it, and to the uninitiated with only this to go on it looks like Joe public could happily swallow it as GA said would be the most likely outcome. Her body was removed from the apartment, hidden and then disposed of
There was no Abduction on 3rd May
There was no Abductor on 3rd May
Madeleine is not living in Germany
Madeleine is not visiting supermarkets in Portugal

The ITV documentary is a re-hash of media reportage over the past weeks, with a bit of spice added by the ex-cop who had no connection with any official investigation and the Portuguese investigative journalist.

Net result .... the Portuguese police bungled their investigation, Madeleine McCann was abducted by a paedophile and Operation Grange now have another stay of execution.

It takes but a minute, no need for an hour long documentary.
