It really needs a Dambuster style 'bouncing bomb', as was designed by Sir Barnes Wallis in 1943 to skip over torpedo nets like a skimming stone and then use the explosive force and the pressure of water to crack the dam, rather than simply blowing it to smithereens with tonnes of TNT. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouncing_bomb

So Padawans, do we have a bouncing bomb available to us that can skip over the Home Office's 'D-notice' nets which supresses media debate on the subject, on their alleged grounds of national security interest?

Perhaps Dr. Perlin and his DNA analysis of the DNA samples, as extracted from underneath the apartment floor tiles and also the back of the Renault Megane hire car, would work?

The Home office so love historically based, British military success analogies. Have a great day and remember, big dams cannot be hidden or go away and only one opportunity is required to 'crack the case wall' and thus 'blow' the dam open, with the force of public opinion and anger.

Perhaps a person at death's door might reveal the truth, but it seems unlikely. The McCann's and their friends could possible have a plan; the last of them to survive to old age will confess all, thus nobody would be punished. But their children would certainly suffer. That would be far too outlandish a plot. Again, poor little Madeleine.

We can see from the recent Cheshire serial baby killer nurse how the NHS hospital bosses closed ranks to protect their own despite whistleblowers, which is what they did to Gerry McCann even when he and his Mrs were, and still are, the prime suspects in the death of their own daughter.

Ditto the police.
Ditto the government.
Ditto the MSM.

A cover up right in front of the public's eyes.

We see you.

It's more likely the truth will be revealed by a whistle blower from either Operation Grange or some other official body involved in the cover up.
Waiting for the McCann clan or tapas lot to confess is never going to happen.

They do not have to Confess.

Even the ECHR know they are Lying to cover up what really happened.

If they want Closure they should just admit what really happened to Madeleine and when, and stop blaming rows of Suspects in a supposed Crime that never occurred.

It's never going to happen, they care more aout what the consequences will be for them than anything else.
All the other so called suspects and stories from people who were "best friends" with CB work in the McCann's favour.
The longer it carries on, the better the Met like it, they have found zero evidence Madeleine was abducted, they took the McCann's word for what happened from the start.
If they put an end to the fiasco, they will have a lot of difficult questions to answer.

All quiet on the western front - where's the customary October Operation Grange funding update bonanza rehashed from previous years March and April press reports?

Not given up - surely?

Have they very quietly thrown in the towel knowing full well there's not a cat in hell's chance of finding the little girl, or she as some might say, alive or anywhere else.  They can't/shouldn't just duck-out without some sort of closure or defined explanation.

Or perhaps they've exhausted the funding by their little jolly over to Portugal to help the German authorities dig up treasures in and around a reservoir beauty spot?

Seems that professed transparency of days gone by has got a bit murky - I like to be updated on their latest ventures into the unknown.  What's needed is a new suspect - that should keep the printing machines busy for the foreseeable, Germanman has got a bit stale, lost impetus, after over three years of nothingness.

Time for another tale of the unexpected ....

waiting

The way I see it is that the Met Police are not completely stupid and if they did any investigation at all they would realise that Madeleine died in the apartment and the abduction claim is bogus.  They know this too well, they must do.

So what is this funding all about?  Surely they are not wasting time and money looking for something that they know full well doesn't exist?  Redwood went to Portugal with some colleagues but that was just to feed the media.

IMO Operation Grange is just a smoke screen, not a valid investigation or review.

Methinks the Metropolitan Police are in the deep doggy doo doo in more recent times.

It could be the final nail in the coffin if there were even a hint spread abroad about a bogus review/investigative unit established in connection with a missing three year old British child.

I think they will keep milking it until the cow dries up but I guess it's never really a problem to create yet another prime suspect, with little or no evidence to take it forward. That's precisely what's been happening so far!

Usually the uniform enhances the status, a look of distinguished suavity but to me Met Police Commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley, looks a bit of a berk.

He certainly can't speak well in public, so unconvincing.
