I have skimmed over PB's blog, but I find her analysis far too simple. No matter what these "professionals" throw at the great unwashed, there's one thing, above all others, in the McCann case that CANNOT be explained away, and that is the smell of death on Kate McCann's clothes and the car the McCann's hired a few weeks AFTER Madeleine went missing.

The questioning in Faro’s PJ requested by SY within the scope of the investigation of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance continues.

After the 4 arguidos, today the 8 witnesses requested by the British Police

Hairs found on the couch of Sergey Malinka had DNA very similar with Madeleine McCann’s. This is the main evidence that Scotland Yard presented to the Public Ministry to constitute as arguido the man born in Russia but living for many years in Praia da Luz in the Algarve.

With him, there are 3 other men, now also arguidos at the request of the English police:

José Carlos Silva, driver of Ocean Club in March (Sic, May) 2007 when Maddie disappeared from the resort,

Pedro Ribeiro, who the English classify as drug-addict and schizophrenic,

Ricardo Rodrigues, a young man who at the time was close to Pedro Ribeiro.

These three men made a series of phone calls considered suspicious on the night of March (sic, May) 3 2007 when Maddie disappeared.

SY believes the three planned the burglary and when faced with the little girl killed her and took her body.

All the arguidos were heard on Monday in the Faro’s PJ. This Tuesday the questioning continues, now with the 8 witnesses that SY requested they were heard.

The English also brought along to the Algarve the tracking dogs specialised in detecting corpses. The intention is that the animals inspect the cars the 4 arguidos had in 2007.

The diligences are to extend, at least, until Friday.

Quite. When is a partial match not a partial match and why should one have less significance than the other? Most unscientific. It seems unlikely there is any intent to prosecute as any defender of the "new arguido/s" would annihilate this piece of evidence on exactly those grounds.

yesterday when the first report about the JT photo on Kim Guess/HiDeHo pages were pasted on here its also said that the same report on the news had mentioned an informant - The photo was picked up on and discussed further but I can find no further discussion of the mention on the news of any informant.- Did anyone manage to find out of this was really said on the news or not. Seems a massive potential piece of info that has been overlooked.

This is about as convincing and credible as Det Chief Supt Hamish Campbell - original co-ordinator of Operation Grange - 'finding' a tiny piece of firearms residue in the coat of Barry Bulsara/George in the Jill Dando case.

And look what happened in that case - the professional hit man who killed her is still at large

It seems to me that Eddie and Keela's indications in 5A and on McCanns clothes have been in some way invalidated or discredited. I can see no other reason why the police would appear to openly ignore the dogs findings.

Dr Amaral mentioned that the PJ had hairs in their possession which had been sent for analysis.
Could these be the same hairs now being reported were found on SM's couch?

It would be prudent of the PJ and SY to take the sniffer dogs to SM's couch.
If they alert to cadaver, then Madeleine would allegedly have been dead on the couch.
If they do NOT alert to cadaver, and the hairs still match, then SM has some explaining to do.

I reckon that IS Jane Tanner, the picture is blurred which always smooths the skin making one look younger and prettier, 99% sure it is she.

IMO I'm sure they've got them. This all links together. I@m sure JT talked after Tannerman was discredited. Smithman, Malinka, Murat, the Mc's, the delaying of the libel case, whatever they found on the dig they hope to match to the DNA from these suspects who i imagine are witnesses/accessories. The main players are deleting blog posts ...

I think rather than a whitewash, SY and PJ have played a blinder.

They are not going to ignore the original sniffer dog results.

Hairs presumably found back in 2007, examined and discounted by the PJ and discounted. Similar will not suffice; even a partial DNA match will not suffice when other partial match DNA evidence is available withn the investigation. Det Chief Supt HC did not have this obstacle to overcome, which is insurmountable and even if AR chooses to gloss over the facts of the original investigation, a defence lawyer certainly will not. SY appear to be going down a cul de sac with this one.

Yes I think that is possible - I also wonder if (a big if) that was JT were we meant to see her ie we being those who would be concerned by her being there.
