As this story develops it is impossible not to draw comparisons with the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and they must be feeling very uncomfortable with having to comment on it.

At this stage of the Team McCann campaign, it was all systems go. Not only were they pushing abduction stories to every media outlet, they were also pressuring the PJ to do the same. Unfortunately 7 years later they are still getting away with the same.

The word 'abductor' has not, so far as I am aware, been used in connection with Mikaeel, it seems to be either/or. That is Mikaeel wandered off on his own in the middle of the night or the answer is much closer to home. They don't seem to be looking for anyone else, they have not given out any descriptions of likely individuals Mikaeel could be with and they have opened the timeline of when the little boy was last seen by someone outside of the family.

As much as we would all love to see this little boy found, it is not looking very hopeful. I hope I am proved wrong.

yes she was reported missing from her bed and described as wearing a puffa jacket if i recall.

the description of what Kiesha was wearing and the fact she was allegedly taken from her bed led to questions from analysts and investigators.

As statements came out red flags were showing up all over the place especially to statement analysts who concluded early on the mom and her hubby were being deceptive.

I spoke to my mate who was living in the area and suggested Kiesha was dumped in bushland.

A 'psychic' apparantly phoned in with a tip which led to the discovery of a body although it wasn't Kiesha's.

The behavior and language of the adults continued to indicate deception . They were eventually arrested as they returned from the site where they dumped her after going to wish her a happy birthday. IIRC the taxi driver called LE because he was suspicious.

It seems LE also weren't buying their story and gave them plenty of rope to hang themselves with.

A body has been found by police searching for missing three-year-old Mikaeel Kular.
Mikaeel had gone missing from his home in Edinburgh on Wednesday night.
His disappearance initiated a major search, with hundreds of members of the public joining search teams and police.
Police in Edinburgh said at a press conference that the body of a young boy had been found in Fife shortly before midnight. They also said a man had been detained

I've just watched it live, they didn't say man - they said an individual had been detained, we don't know yet whether it is a man or a woman. Sky still saying 'person' - not being specific.

Sadly, what I thought all along would be the outcome. Didn't say anything but it seemed to point towards this. Too many things not making sense for it to be a woke and wandered, or an outside person. Poor little boy.

It seems the mom is the 'person ' arrested.

it always gets my attenion when a report includes the gender neutral word 'person'

When a gender neutral word is used, it is used to conceal the gender/ identity of the subject.
In this case when they said person i knew it had to be a family member such as the mom, possibly the dad or someone known to the family, police and media, which again points to the mom.

If as it seems it may be the mom involved, and given he hasn'rt been seen at school since before christmas, what changed to cause her to report him as missing now rather than sooner?

Was it due to someone visiting such as the father, the schook etc?

I suspect it will turn out he isn't 'freshly dead'

Was he found by a searcher, by accident or was there a tip leading to his remains being found?
