Unrealistic accounts of events Empty Unrealistic accounts of events

Post by suzyjohnson 10.11.13 20:04

One of the suspicious things IMO, about this case is some of the unrealistic remarks made by the McCanns and Payne regarding 3rd May. It's as though they want to paint a picture of a perfect family on a perfect holiday, and it just doesn't ring true at all, as in the following,

1) Payne, saying he went to visit Kate at the apartment, and all three children were there, all dressed in white like angels
2) Gerry's proud father moment just minutes before MM disappeared
3) Kate saying that MM said she had had the best day of her life.

It would seem quite so odd if it were just the one comment but taking them all into account.

I know children do have milk and cookies and stories at bedtime. Sometimes. Children of nearly four and nearly two wouldn't sit there looking at books while their mother was having a shower though IMO, they would be running around the apartment, getting into trouble. spilling drinks, fighting or falling off the furniture. Yet when DP arrived, KM was in a towel, as she had just got out of the shower, and the children were all standing there, like angels.

In contrast to this scene, the accounts of McCann outings during the holiday were not so perfect. On the first evening they went to the Millenium restaurant for tea, it was too far to walk and they decided they weren't going to do that again. Another day they took the children to the beach, it was cold and miserable and MM asked to go back to the creche. And wasn't there another unhappy trip into town one day, to buy some shoes iirc?

Very well observed! The number three has always had an important role in the fairy tales :-)

A final point about fairy tale style is the common use of the number "three" in many classic fairy tales. It is usual that a fairy tale has three main characters, three incidents or three tasks. In "The Three Little Pigs", there are three main characters — the three lovely pigs. In "Cinderella", Cinderella’s father has three daughters, namely Cinderella and her two stepsisters. Besides, in "Snow White", the Queen tries three times to kill Snow White. In practice, the number "three" symbolizes perfection and completeness. ...

And the day before, the 2nd, was virtually devoid of worthwhile mention.

The CW representations made it appear as a real family orientated holiday, whereas the creche records demonstrate the kids were got shot of at every opportunity so the parents could run around and dash on and off tennis courts (one can almost imagine the Benny Hill theme tune as a backdrop).

I was reading this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] maybe the perps who have taken here say the same thing about her:

They "court" the child and lavish attention and concern for their well-being upon them.
Most Pedophiles are mild mannered and average-looking men.
They are frequently described as "just the nicest man you ever met."
They will typically display a fascination with children and will make frequent references to them as "pure," "innocent," "angels," and "precious."

The  'threeness' of the children in this case was for he purpose of establishing that Maddie was alive at that point.
He could hardly say he particularly noticed Maddie.

But as for events being unreal and fairy-tale Gerry's first entry on his blog takes the biscuit:

Our day starts around 6.30am with us all waking up around the same time. We have breakfast with Sean and Amelie and our close family/friends who are here with us. Then its clean nappies and clothes for Sean and Amelie followed by showers etc for the rest of us.

Usually there’s some free time then for a few stories or games with the twins before heading out.

9.00-9.15 We take Sean and Amelie to Kids’ Club. They really enjoy it and run in. They know the staff well and the staff are all excellent. Both love the domestic corner and Amelie particularly likes to look after ‘babies’. We use the kids club a bit like nursery at home but we think Sean and Amelie still think they are on holiday!

9.30~12.15. We return to the apartments, usually for a series of meetings with our press officer, Mark Warner Reps, occasionally Consulate staff, lawyers and British Liaison officers. During this time we catch up with family and close friends, usually by telephone and discuss ideas how to keep Madeleine’s profile high especially throughout continental Europe.

12.30 Time to pick up Sean and Amelie from Kids’ club then head back to apartment for lunch, which has usually been prepared by one of our family/friends group who have been tremendously supportive.

13.30 –14.30 This is time to spend time playing with the twins either in the apartment or in the play area next to kids club.

14.30-15.00 Usually we take the twins back to Kids’ Club although Sean has had the odd afternoon in the apartment as it’s a bit cooler and he’s not much of a sun worshipper! They have been taking part in many different activities including painting, singing, stories, swimming, trips to the beach and they have lots of toys to play with.

15.00~17.00 We try to get some time together alone, going for a walk to talk things over or getting some exercise. This is often the time for quiet trips to the church for prayers.

17.00-17.30 Meet kids for high tea with other mums and dads. They love pasta and have been doing really well with their vegetables although a few chips have been squeezed in.

17.30-18.30. Games with kids at play area. Amelie loves trying to get in the baby pool!

18.30-19.30 Bath and story time with the twins.

20.00 We put the kids to bed.

20.30-23.00 We try to sit down for a family meal, again usually cooked by one of the small family group out here with us. Chat about the day’s events and plan the next day

23.30 bed and prayer for Madeleine that she will be returned to us safely ASAP.

In addition to above we try to attend various church services during the week, and make multiple phone calls to family and friends. We try to watch the main news early morning and late evening but have had almost no time to read the newspapers or even look at the pictures!

Kate is a keen runner and in the last few days has tried to include a run in the daily routine. Yesterday (Sat) at 7am we ran to the monument at the top of the steep cliff overlooking Praia de Luz. We reached it in 19 minutes.

Shame they hadn't stayed in every night with their children before Maddie went missing.

No sign in his blog of anybody going to eat out or going to a bar for dwinkies.

Another suspicious things IMO was not only the quick setup of the fund, but all that people quiting good jobs to work for the fund or the McCann's.
Than I thought huh? what if she is found the next day or the next week. Shocked
Back than nobody could know it would last at least more than 6 years, did they?

But Gerry was planning fund raising events  about a year ahead in June 2007!  Gives one a clue doesn't it?

The McCanns -catatonic Kate and motormouth Gerry must have been a PR's nightmare! No wonder they needed so many. Woolfall, Pinky, Freud.....

Interesting that they give the children breakfast, sitting in their full nappies, and only change them afterwards.

What a busy buzzy little bluebottle was G McCann.  Don'cha just wanna swat him?  angry

Kids bunged in the creche 6 days a week.  Swanning around like the Great I Am.  Hobnobbing with assorted bigwigs, barking orders at minions, relatives/friends waiting on him hand and foot.   Living the life of Riley, wasn't he?

Nevertheless, some revealing glimpses into parenting McCann style... the kids sit in dirty nappies to eat their breakfast and at 2+ years have only just been introduced to vegetables.  I expect they were weaned on haggis and deep fried Mars bars.

Money spent on PR would be wasted on one such as this odious being because he won't take direction, but no doubt his blog enthralled a captive audience in secure mental health establishments up and down the country.

Given this family of 5 4 share one toothbrush and there's no mention of washing the children before they're put into clean clothes after breakfast,  it's apparent that even basic hygiene doesn't feature on the parents' list of priorities.

But then obsessive about bathing the children every evening and Kate herself having a bath and shower in a short space of time.

In that blog, Madeleine is mentioned only twice.  Once in relation to "keeping her profile high" and at the end for a prayer.  The prayer does not ask that she is well, being looked after, cared for, not afraid.  Just that they get her back safely ASAP.

A whole days routine with "the kids" mentioned, but even when reading a story no thought or mention of Madeleine being missing from the family unit.

There are times when I read this stuff it just hits home that the little one was in the way, or certainly that's what strikes me when I read his rubbish.

Madeleine was the 'almost perfect' child and I suspect the McCanns had to pay for the IVF it took for her to come into the world.

The perfect twins weren't a 'buy one, get one free' because they didn't have to pay a cent for IVF in Amsterdam.

Once the twins were on the way Madeleine was 'not wanted on voyage' and thereafter was sidelined and, I suspect, scapegoated by her parents.

Funny you should say that... on the iconic photo, has anybody ever seen a version that isn't so cropped to M's face? The background looks remarkably cluttered.

Yes, rather surprised me too! Highly unusual, I'd say, to leave to soiled babies in their rags at the breakfast table

As if they had never actually performed any of the normal daily routines that prevail in a normals day-to-day household

We reached it in 19 minutes.

spit coffee     You can't make it up, which PR expert told them to put this out?  Public lapped it up I expect.

If Amelie, according to her own father, in those early days already was capable of (wanting to) take care of babies, what was she in fact capable of telling about her missing sister?

Yes, rather surprised me too! Highly unusual, I'd say, to leave to soiled babies in their rags at the breakfast table

As if the McCs had never actually performed any of the normal daily routines that prevail in a normal day-to-day household; first clean up, THEN eat, not the other way around.

Also remarkable that the McCs never actually prepared their own meals, but some outsider had always to be prevailed upon. Strange
