Annual Report and Accounts 2012 - 2013

Little bit disappointed to see that staff 'costs' at the charidy has gone UP to £1,710,751 FROM £1,522,985.
An INCREASE of £187,766. on the previous year.
Still, i'm sure there is still just enough money 'left' from 'donations' for actually promoting ~~themselves~~ missing people after taking their staff 'costs' away.
They don't say who is paying for their dinner gala.
Is it paid for from 'donations' to their charidy from a ~~gullible~~ generous public?

They might like to stop and think about the 'missing' people in the Philippines, tonight, in between quaffing their champers, and munching on the finest ~~sardines~~ smoked salmon, and giving each other back slapping self congratulations for their 'fund' raising efforts for their charidy!

Someone's got to pay the 'staff' haven't they?

This is the latest update on their homepage and the photograph says it all for me. 8 people in the photo of whom one is Jo Youle and the other a Mayor....so six people....planted a tree and Missing People give thanks to a lottery funding and tell us how many people they have re-united with their families. Note that Jo Youle and the Mayor are standing nowhere near the families (the photograph is of their choosing folks).

I can't fathom what this charity is about.

It's about STAFF 'COSTS' to the tune of £1,710,571 before a single penny is used for what the public's 'donations' were given for!

It is another P.A.C.T only on a massive scale!

It seems some "charities" think as long as money is coming in, it doesn't matter who fronts our campaigns.

And some wonder why/how Jimmy Savile got away with his misdemeanors throughout his lifetime!

From what I can make out, most of their staff are volunteers. So it seems that these staff costs are going on the director's salaries. I know someone who contacted them about a missing relative. They printed her off some posters (and asked her for a donation towards the cost) and put the details on their website. That was it. Apart from paying huge salaries to directors, what do they actually do that needs vast amounts of money?

And another thing (while I'm on my soapbox!). It states that there should be no agency applications. So is this vacancy ONLY advertised on their website? To do that you have to search for vacancies within their site, so it's likely that the job would go to somebody with connections to them, and not open to general jobseekers.

As an ambassador for the charity, will Kate McCann have to meet and greet Townshend, maybe he'll be seated next to her and they can have a chat about her book? Why are the media banging on about that awful t-shirt stunt at Wandsworth Prison and ignoring this story?

Made a funny (and pretty tame) "Maddy" joke in the performance of Hitler Moustache that I saw.

The joke suggested that if Maddy looked like the aged progressed photo then her abductor must be taking pretty good care of her........better than her parents did

I wonder if Kate heard it? I doubt it. As far as I know it didn't make the DVD release of the show
