No questions..........
Kate doesn't do questions.
Only if they come from Lorraine, Fiona, or any other apologist, then she is happy to answer questions.

Regarding the picture of Madeleine's star reward chart for sleeping in her own bed does anyone have a clearer image of it and the chart thingy above it? I've often wondered why it was referred to as a medical monitoring chart. Apparently Granny Susan claimed that it hadn't been needed since April 2006 yet more than a full year later it's still up on the wall! I think that's a case of "pull the other one".

Off topic but as you ask - this is the only copy I'm aware of..

I'm at a loss to understand why this image was released into the public domain.  Could be wrong but I think it's only airing was on the Oprah Winfrey show which makes me wonder if it was a stage prop - the sort of tactic Oprah Winfrey is renowned for!

@ Verdi. Thanks. Didn't mean to stray, was picking up from this pic. on previous page. Medical monitoring seems a rather over the top description for a star chart. If it had been for eating her vegetables or tidying her room it wouldn't have been thus described I imagine. That's why I wondered if the printed chart above is in any way connected.

I mean, behind the scenes, Gerry (me 'usband) was literally on the floor crying.

Watch at 1.42 as Gerry states that the objective was "to keep that search going" and then.......a great big gulp !

" They're not tragic figures "

Really ? That's the role they've played for the last 10 years !

Victims , poor us , brave , heartbroken . Played to media by the likes of Tracey Kandohla .

Kate has mastered her " tragic " face

Gerry is stoic and strong .

Oh please ! This man gives me the creeps

April 2017, Gerry and Kate McCann talk of their intended action to appeal against the Lisbon Supreme Court's decision in favour of  Snr Goncalo Amaral.

@ 05:20 minutes

Fiona Bruce:  At the moment you have lost and he has won, is ... is this the end for you now or are you going to continue to to fight him?

Gerry McCann:  Well I think the short answer is we have to because the last judgement I think is terrible erm ... so we will be appealing erm ... we haven't lodged that yet but we'll be going to the European Courts erm ... I think it's also important to say, that when we lodged the action eight years ago ... and err ... the circumstances were very different when we felt there was real damage being done ter err search for Madeleine at that, time particularly in Portugal ....

I think what people need to realise there was ... and ... err assistant commissioner Rowley has said that again err ... this week ... and the Portuguese have said in their final report ... that ... that there's no evidence that Madeleine's dead ... and erm ... the prosecutor said ... you know ... there is no evidence we were involved in any crime and d d d ... that ... anything opposite is an erm ... injustice.

Madeleine McCann - The Last Hope - Four Corners  [would that be Jon Corners per chance?]

Secret Madeleine McCann report finds competing British forces hampered inquiry

Police chiefs fighting to be seen to be helping in the search for Madeleine McCann alienated Portuguese authorities and had a long-term impact on the investigation, report finds

British police forces competing to been seen to be helping find Madeleine McCann hampered the investigation and has had a long term negative effect, a secret Home Office report found.
The unpublished report by Jim Gamble, former head of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP), found that so many UK agencies got involved it damaged relations with Portuguese police.
The report, commissioned by former Home Secretary Alan Johnson in 2009, was delivered in 2010 and led to the Metropolitan Police reopening the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance, but was never released.
For the first time details have been briefed to Sky News, revealing that Mr Gamble criticised the Association of Chief Police Officers decision to put Leicestershire Police in charge of the operation because the McCanns lives in the county, despite the fact the force was ill-equipped to deal with such a big investigation.
Mr Gamble said that within weeks of Madeleine going missing in May 2007 the Portuguese were given advice by CEOP, the Metropolitan Police, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and the National Police Improvement Agency.

The Crimestoppers charity published its own appeal hotline and different Government ministers – No 10, the Home Office and the Foreign Office – were demanding briefings from the various agencies.
Mr Gamble said: “All of us, including myself at CEOP at the time, your first gut reaction is you want to help, a child has gone missing … so everyone came with best intention, that created a sense of chaos and a sense of competition, people putting their hand up and wanting to help and in many instances in my opinion wanting to be seen to help.
“If we look at it honestly there were some in leadership roles who wanted to represent their organisation to be seen to take a lead role and be seen to provide critical input in this and that made it difficult for a small, regional force like Leicestershire.

“It was unhelpful … I've no doubt relationships from the outset with the Portuguese were impacted by it and I think that had a long term negative effect on the investigation and I think to this very day the Met investigation team that's engaged now are still having to manage and massage that relationship and perhaps to be fair to the Portuguese, mend some fences that were trodden on in the early days.”
He has refused to discuss the content of his report, but leaked details reveals that the intervention of multiple British police forces and crime agencies led to "frustration" and "resentment" among the Portuguese police who believed that their British counterparts were on the side of the McCanns.
Because of the challenges to the way the Portuguese police were investigating Britain was warned that they should not try to act as a "colonial power".
Discussing the investigation Mr Gamble said that the initial Portuguese police response to Madeleine’s disappearance was "haphazard".
“There was chaos, and as it went on it was haphazard which was alien to the more structured police you would expect here in the UK. There was not a sense of order.
“In the first instance the parents should be your Number One suspects. In most cases in the first few golden hours as you collect evidence you can then rule them in or out.
“And that was one of the huge flaws in this, that people didn't focus on clearing the ground beneath their feet in those chaotic first few hours that led into the haphazard first few weeks.
“When I carried out the scoping review there was no evidence that some of the critical information and the analysis of which could have led to intelligence and to leads had been followed up.”
One of Mr Gamble’s recommendations in his report was the establishment of a national centre for missing children which could combine the resources of the best experts and technology.
However, this has not been set up and therefore the British authorities are no better equipped to deal with a similar situation than they were in 2007, Mr Gamble warns.
However, despite the failings Mr Gamble remains confident that Madeleine's case will be solved.
“Someone knows … I genuinely believe in my lifetime we will find out what happened. Relationships, loyalties change, and at some stage some person will come forward.”
Author Anthony Summers, whose book ‘Looking for Madeleine’ is out next week and contains further revelations about the case, said: “It was a case of too many cooks, all with good intentions, spoiling the broth of the initial investigation. And then the mistakes, or should I say the missteps, began to pile one upon another.”
Co-author Robbyn Swan added: “The problems that grew out of the race to help in the initial phase of the Madeleine investigation, the problems of the lack of co-ordination between the Portuguese and the British police, the bad feeling, the lack of translation ability, those things have not been fundamentally addressed.”
The Home Office – which declined to release the report under Freedom of Information laws – declined to comment

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/madeleinemccann/11068928/Secret-Madeleine-McCann-report-finds-competing-British-forces-hampered-inquiry.html

You have to question why former Home Secretary, Alan Johnson, commissioned the chief of the CEOP and personal friend of the parents McCann, to produce a scoping report on the case of Madeleine McCann's disappearance.

Gamble says in the video interview, that the investigation was thwarted by a number of separate 'good samaritan' sources, who retained their own documentation relative to the case - until the establishment of Operation Grange, who collated all the material into one location.  Here I must remind Gamble that the Portuguese authorities had primacy (and still do) over the case so, all - that's all - documentation from whatever source should have been passed to the Portuguese police - not withheld!  There is no excuse for this unprecedented course of inaction.

Gamble also needs to learn that a senior police chief should not hook-up with the prime suspects in a criminal investigation, be it here, in Portugal or even Cambodia.

The Crying Incident

Please like and subscribe! Kate McCann details how Madeline asked her why nobody came when she cried the night before, this is another questionable tale which is full of contradictions. It's plain to see that the McCann couple are both cold and calculating people who show little empathy for others.

An interesting collection of clips regarding the so called "crying story" all credits to "MrNotbornyesterday1" why do the McCanns show such little empathy or concerns for their children, all we here is excuses and blaming of other people. This is.not typical behaviour for parents whose child has been abducted.

I should have said looking cool calm collected and very casual !!!

Aside from that, going over old ground again and again and again,  the Huelva trip really is a mystery.  Despite their claims about being watched by the media night and day, the media did not follow them to Huelva, they were alone in a hired Renault Scenic with Jon Corner and his camera.  There is a lost hour or two during this trip - they went across the border to Spain in order to engage with the public and hand out posters;  why did they choose a public holiday and why didn't they use some officialdom to add clout to the visit - like they did for the European/North African tour?

They were astonished that hardly anyone had ever heard of Madeleine - why should they?  What difference did it make to the official investigation or the unofficial search, handing out posters of Madeleine in Huelva?  The entire country of Spain, why did they think Huelva might be significant?

The trip coincidentally coincided with the arrival of the PJ and Eddie and Keela, they had a machine load of wet washing, Gerald had a dicky belly which apparently delayed their trip overnight - next day off they drive into the sunset, a few thousand miles clocked up and a few publicity shots courtesy of Jon Corner.

That visit to Huelva I believe has deep significance, not just a diversion - they could have gone anywhere if it where only a diversion.

I digress.

As KM wrote in "madeleine" : “We’d never lied about anything – not to the police, not to the media, not to anyone else. But now we found ourselves in one of those tricky situations where we just didn’t seem to have a choice… As it happened, Gerry had a mild stomach upset which we used as an excuse to postpone the trip.”

Was Gerry ill or not ? In his blog he stated he was "laid low" and couldn't "stray far from the house". Kate seems to indicate that they were happy to use the alleged viral illness as an excuse and lie to postpone the trip. And they never lied about ANYTHING.......but.........

“We’d never lied about anything – not to the police, not to the media, not to anyone else...."

Kate McCann
----------

“She phoned at about 3am. She just blurted out that Maddie had been abducted.

She told me, 'They have broken the shutter on the window and taken my little girl.'

Jon Corner
----------

".... now we found ourselves in one of those tricky situations where we just didn’t seem to have a choice…."

Kate McCann
----------

I wonder how many other occasions they found themselves in a tricky situation that left them with no choice but to lie.
