Police Dog Bacca Is Awarded PDSA Order Of Merit For His Outstanding Service
I'm giving this courageous *incredibly reliable* dog his own thread.
PD Bacca was presented with the PDSA Gold Medal for Animal Gallantry and Devotion to Duty for his outstanding service to the West Mercia Police. Even after being stabbed several times during a vicious attack, and seriously injured in the line of duty, PD Bacca kept going because he knew he had to save his handler's life.
After he recovered from his operation PD Bacca went back to work, his spirit never failed and he showed exceptional dedication to his handler Constable Mike Davey and the West Mercia Police.
PD Bacca is now enjoying a well-earned retirement.
