Brilliant...will we see Nicola Wall sitting in helicopters on location, with her hair wafting in the breeze whilst dressed in some sort of combat gear, with the silhouette of a senior PJ female officer (of course) sat at the side of her?

Will we see Alison from the CPS sitting in the front of the helicopter at the side of a female pilot?

Anything can happen in the next half hour (well that's unless you're Madeleine McCann who was less than four years old when she went missing and her parents were looking in on her 'every half hour')....tune in next week....same time....same channel.

I think she bought 94,892 copies of Kate McCann's madeleine, in the half-price sale in her local pound shop.  :puke:

Or maybe 4,700 16-inch Seafood Special pizzas ... with extra anchovies as a leaving present for Andy.    :puke:

Or even four million, seven hundred and forty-four thousand, and six hundred penny chews from the local Praia da Luz sweet shop.  :puke:

DCI Wall has only four years to complete her 30 year service.

Operation Grange is now three and a half years old. Andy Redwood is retired.

Here he is quoted (Daily Mirror)

Mr Redwood said: "After careful consideration and a full and rewarding career in the Met the time is right for me to move on.

"The past three and a half years leading Operation Grange has been an extraordinary privilege, and I leave the investigation in the very capable hands of my experienced colleague Nicola."

Will Nicola Wall be passing on the poisoned chalice Operation Grange baton to another experienced colleague in around 4 years time?

Is Operation Grange a pre-retirement gig?

Just my opinion.

Perhaps AR and DrA could get their retired heads together to solve this case unfettered by their superiors` constraints, if any.

An interesting silence has descended on SY.

They were photographed and the photo handed to a press agency, who released it on 8 May, as the search for Madeleine continued. The McCanns held up these same pyjamas at two press conferences on 5 & 7June 2007. How could Madeleine have been abducted?"

Yes, hopefully Chapter 15 = The verdict of the libel trial, which (imo) the McCanns will LOSE spectacularly!

And we shall see if once again, running a loud parallel to events in Lisbon, are the new DCI and her Operation Grange team hotly pursuing yet another round of 'persons of interest' in the Algarve... whilst the two lying culprits sit right under their noses!

Mitchell has to find something to do. He is at 33-1 with some bookies. 50-1 with others.
What a joy if he lost his deposit.
But he may get the 5%. There are probably sufficient pink shirt wearers in the Constituency . . .

If their place on top of the wall becomes precarious it could be that the King's Counsel will advise Humpty to secure his positon by pushing Humptie off, or vice versa.

Or it could be that other inhabitants of Nurseryland will hold a blanket under the wall to cushion the fall while singing a few choruses of:
"Jump you f*cker, jump.
Jump into this 'ere blanket
Wot we are holding
And you will be alright"

(He jumped
Hit the deck
Broke his f*cking neck
There was no blanket)

Anyone care to 'guess' under what 'pretext' DCI Wall and her 'team', will, if she does, be in Portugal around about, say, February time, say, again, about libel case 'conclusion' 'time'?

A) She's 'found' a new 195 'investigative opportunities' after having the Portuguese 'files' re-interpreted, AGAIN.

B) She's going to 'solve' all of Portugal's 'paedophile' problems, as there are none of 'those' er, problems, left in the UK to 'solve'

or

C) 'top up' the Op Grange's stock of duty frees, as DCI Mahogany's 'retirement' do, put rather a 'dent' into the OG duty free booze 'stock room'

'C' is a 'joke',................ or is it? winkwink

Possibly a new boss for Wall?

Met Police Press Release 12-Jan-2015 16:01

Patricia Gallan is Met's new Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Crime and Operations

Patricia Gallan has today been announced as the Met's Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Crime and Operations.

Patricia moves from her current role as Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Specialist Operations - Security and Protection.

She said: "I am pleased and honoured to be appointed to this post and excited about the opportunity it presents to work with some of the best detectives in the country plus a diverse range of operational units, all of which contribute to making London a safer place to be."

Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said: "I am delighted to welcome Patricia to her new post. Having worked with her for several years, I know her commitment, professionalism and wealth of experience will be a real asset to this role."

Born and brought up in Scotland, Patricia joined the Met in 1987. She began her policing career at Stoke Newington in east London, where she served in uniform before transferring to CID.

In March 2000, she moved to Specialist Operations at New Scotland Yard and led the Met unit dealing with informants. Trained in 1997 as a hostage negotiator, Patricia was regularly deployed to a variety of incidents. As a Detective Superintendent, she worked in covert policing before serving as staff officer to the then Deputy Commissioner. She was promoted in-post to Detective Chief Superintendent.

Patricia left the Met in January 2005 to pursue other opportunities, including Assistant Chief Constable with the National Crime Squad, leading on undercover policing operations, informants, witness protection and intelligence. From January 2006 until she rejoined the Met, Patricia was Assistant Chief Constable at Merseyside Police with responsibility for operational support, including serious and organised crime, the mounted branch and roads policing.

She was on secondment to the Home Office as a temporary Deputy Chief Constable, working in the Police Value for Money Team, before rejoining the Met in May 2012 as Deputy Assistant Commissioner in charge of the Directorate of Professionalism.

Patricia is expected to begin her new role in the next month and will have overall responsibility for units including the Homicide and Major Crime Command, Trident, the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, the firearms command, intelligence, public order and traffic.

She takes over from Cressida Dick who leaves the Met on Monday, 19 January to take up a new role at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The vacant role of DAC SO will be filled in due course.

Are there any men left on the Madeleine McCann case ? In England or in Portugal ?
Perhaps now the tiny tears and the Cadaver Cat will no longer be significant factors

Perhaps now the participants will be judged on their veracity, rather than on the size of their tits.

I have a dream, that one day . . . .

Knitted wrote:"Cressida Dick"? Wasn't that a Viz character?

I dunno, she is well known for overseeing an electrician being repeatedly shot in the head and not being held responsible though.

"Mr de Menezes, 27, a Brazilian electrician, was shot dead at Stockwell underground station in south London on July 22, 2005. He had been mistaken by police for Hussain Osman, one of four would-be suicide bombers who had tried and failed to blow themselves up on the capital's transport network the previous day.
Michael Mansfield, QC, representing the de Menezes family at the inquest into his death, said Ms Dick "dismally failed" to minimise the risk to the Brazilian.
She replied: "I follow you sir, I don't accept it."
Ms Dick ran the operation from a control room at Scotland Yard and said yesterday that she believed Mr de Menezes death was the result of "extraordinary circumstances" but that no one was to blame. Asked if she was unable to take responsibility for her actions, she replied: "I regard myself as somebody who will always take full responsibility for what I have done."
Mr Mansfield said that events spiralled out of control because from the very beginning police were "sprinting to catch up with something that had not been properly organised".
Ms Dick admitted that the first hour of the day was "appalling" because there was "no structure" but added that it was common for police operations to be chaotic in their early stages as commanders attempted to pull together thousands of officers."

She is also a graduate of 'Common Purpose'.
"Although it has 80,000 trainees in 36 cities, 18,000 graduate members and enormous power, Common Purpose is largely unknown to the general public.
It recruits and trains "leaders" to be loyal to the directives of Common Purpose and the EU, instead of to their own departments, which they then undermine or subvert, the NHS being an example."
