It is about Madeleine as a product, a brand, and marketing opportunities.
Even if TM are not doing this themselves, they must have given permission for the reproduction of the image.

Gosh! What would it be like to attend one of these strategy meetings of TM? I envision a conference table, accountants, a large whiteboard or now that we're a little further, probably a promotional video of the designers of these products.
Notes being taken, the SY approved photograph definitely, even if she looks so ordinary instead of the little princess poster. So we have to have the princess poster, don't mention the coloboma although it is in each of the photographs. Apparently SY haven't got as far as 2011 yet when it was scrapped.

Mugs with this image on? Tea towels, lets just float these to see how it goes and then we can go on the the excellent offers from the manufacturers of key rings, baseball caps and oven gloves. Or contact NZ wine companies to add the image to their labels?

Well, the second book bombed, the first probably hasn't made the advance yet, the film never materialised and April Jones is now first in line to get a documentary.

The wrist bands and tee shirts were tacky and imo in very bad taste, but this really scrapes the bottom of the chav barrel.

I think it's just the link that's faulty as I went to Amazon and typed Madeleine McCann into the browser and the bag was on the first page of the search. It is someone called Art247 that is selling it along with fridge magnets etc. and the bag was first listed on October 10th

Here is the Amazon page, if this company is using images without paying for copyright, they might be in trouble. Unless the Fund has sold the use of these images and the production thereof to this firm. Which is quite possible imo.

If I enter a search on the amazon site "madeleine shopping bag" there are a number of results returned and one of them is that bag in Peter Mac's link.

The Find Madeline site is up and running but when I go into their online store, there are no products available to purchase, just an error message. I am distraught, I wanted a good quality wristband.

Art247.com own website has Madeleine items listed for sale, even a print of the spotty man ! What is going on ?

Yes you are right sami, it's all very odd, because I searched amazon with madeleine tote shopping bag and bags and all sorts of combinations and it never came up, only that Madeleine art print. Something funny going on methinks.
