I found this video on Joana's blog and added her translation to a portion of the video.

I found it extremely interesting, especially hearing 5A cleaner interview!

After becoming world-wide famous, the small Algarvian villa plunged in a profound crisis.

This reportage shows unheard statements of the Ocean Club workers, local shopkeepers and members of the English community living in the area.

The cleaner for 5A describes her meeting with the McCanns and how the case has affected her and her family.

She focuses on the McCann's exit from the balcony doors to the garden, when she arrived on Wednesday morning May 2nd.

One has to wonder why they didn't leave via the front or the living room patio door.

Was there something they were taking out from the bedroom that they didn't want her to see?

Just a thought......especially as the cleaner described seeing a cot in the McCann's bedroom despite their denials that it was there.

She has been so troubled and affected by the case, even three years later!

How sad to see the problems created by the McCann's.

Good video. I think Owen Gee knows what happened and who the person is that can reveal the truth. Hope he is still trying to get them to relieve their conscience. I like if you come here on a family holiday then stay as a family! So very true!

He is also very right about the Portguese being family orientated, honest and friendly. These people have lost a lot from this scam too

Hope the Mccanns are enjoying all that money, and what it is has cost to lots of innocent people and their lives

"On Wednesday 2nd May 2007, Kate McCann called her friend "Amanda" at 7.36.41 and again at 7.36.45. This was around two hours earlier than any of mobile activations on any other morning."
If maddy was found dead/hardly breathing on 2nd morning by kate, kate immed. calls "amanda" (something wrong with maddy’s breathing) before alerting GM.

“At 8.07 Gerald McCann received a call from the SMS message centre (447818520047), but does not appear to have responded. At 8.50 Kate McCann received a call from a UK mobile xxxxx27010 and returned it at 8.53, before going to play tennis. Gerald McCann received a series of calls from his SMS message centre between 9.10 and 10.47, again without response.”
Death confirmed by 9-10 if not earlier. Operation coverup planning started. Somedy in UK most likely knows about Maddy’s death by now (10.47). I think GM makes the call on kate’s mobile at 8.53 (careful not to use his).

“Gerald received five further calls from the SMS message centre and at 15.50 called 91121, probably to collect his messages. He received further calls from the centre at 17.49 and 19.49. The records provided by Vodafone show these calls but that they originate from a different mobile number (0xxxx014310)”.
Somebody finalises how to get rid of body from 5A (cupboard).
“At 20.08 Kate McCann received two calls from a UK mobile xxxx7624 and six minutes late Gerald McCann called 91121: again to collect messages before he left for the Tapas Bar.”
Body to be taken that night (best time-dead of night) or 3rd morning.

CLEANER WEDNESDAY MORNING:

With respect to her activities performed directly in the apartment, she declares that the last time she entered the apartment was on the Wednesday prior to the events, specifically on the 2nd of May, when she cleaned the apartment. When questioned, she declares that as opposed to what is established, on Thursday the 3rd and due to other chores, she did not have time to collect the garbage bags.

She remembers that when she entered Apartment A on the Wednesday, the parents were inside. After being duly authorized, she entered and carried out her work, because they were already on their way out. While she was in the apartment, there were no children there, and she supposed that they were in the creche. While performing her work, she remembers having noticed that the couple was sleeping in the room located opposite the entrance, where she confirmed the presence of a child’s bed (crib). The room gives onto an outdoor garden by means of a terrace, as it is on the ground floor,. In the room next to the entrance to the apartment there was a bed placed next to the wall (where she supposed the missing child slept), and also the second child’s bed (crib). All these beds were untidy at the time, meaning that they had been used. She also declares that in the room next to the entrance was another bed that had not been used.

The only thing that concerns me is that they still went to play tennis in the afternoon

What has always been a stumbling block for me was the cleaner being in the apartment on Wednesday morning and if Madeleine died previously, where was her body.



The 'bag' seems to be an issue despite denials. The police asked several members whether the McCanns had a sports bag (which seems to be missing).



It would be helpful to know the time that she cleaned the apartment. There is a good chance it was the first one and therefore fairly early. There was no tennis that morning but if they took the twins to the creche and were seen by Dianne Webster in the Millenium then was this before or after their 'breakfast'?



They showed as playing tennis on Wednesday afternoon but Daniel Stuk the coach only mentioned Gerry. No confirmation that Kate played as far as I know.



There were lots of 'oddities' on Tuesday, which is why I have always thought of the possibility that Madeleine died (or was 'sick' ) earlier in the week



Regardless....one of my stumbling blocks has been removed by the possibility that they removed something from the apartment after the cleaner arrived and she obviously thought it odd and is very traumatised.

It would have been helpful if the cleaner had confirmed she cleaned the window on Wednesday as Amaral claimed. As far as i can see that isn't in the files But in his book he does claim that the cleaner said she cleaned the window.

The problem I have with the cleaners concerns on the 2nd, is that the creche sheet happenings started as early as the 29th. That would suggest possibly death on the night of the 28th, or in the very early hours of the 29th. There is no way they could have kept a body in that apartment all that time without using their fridge and as we already know, Eddie did not alert to anything in the kitchen.
If she saw 'something' leave with the McCann's, it could only have been a bag, which may have contained last minute cleaning materials and cleaning products, which they had to get out of the apartment before she went in.
The cleaner says in her statement that when she arrived, they were still there and that she didn't enter until after they had left. The cleaner would have been at the front door at this stage and eventually entered through the front door. So why would the McCann's want to leave through the rear patio door, knowing that they could not lock it? Did they ask her to lock it? Was it to save them going the long way round? If they were carrying something suspicious, would they really leave together with this in their hands in front of the her.
I think a lot of what they did that week was to make sure people associated them with that specific apartment. First we had the blind repair, then the washing machine instructions, then the cleaner's daughter and the stairs, finally the cleaner arriving on the Wednesday. Something tells me they were not even sleeping in that apartment, hence all the timely events.
