Accounts slipped in at the very last minute as usual. Presently being processed and will be up in next few days.

Accounts are now up, but can’t copy & paste as on my phone. No income/expenditure so ca’t say for certain, but pretty much looks like nothing has happened over latest period, surprise, surprise. Just over a grand from ‘bewk’ so not exactly falling off the shelves.

There is a gain of £27,107 on the investment but an overall surplus of only £21,241 (Investment aside, a deficit of £5,866)

Income from Kates' book £1,239 (total £9,946 from book income is assumed to be a cumulative amount on the restricted income from the book in the full accounts over the years).

Not much to go on here but very little appears to be happening apart from the movement on the Investments. Some changes during the year, additions and disposals, some dividends and management fees.

Why is so much of this fund tied up in an investment when the McCanns claim that the money is needed to fund the immediate search for Madeleine? Clearly, the money is not being used to search.

Just noticed that we will miss out on our annual New Year game, spot the rubbish 'highest standards of transparency and accountability' accounts submission.

Due to C19, Companies House have extended the filing dates from 9 to 12 months from year-end, so we will have to wait until nearly Easter for this annual nonsense trip (31 March 2019).

Bet they still slip them through at the very last minute though.

Which will be a month before what would have been Madeleine's 18th birthday. Surely time to close the Fund.

She will no longer be a ward of court on that birthday.

Fund and the Foundation is ongoing.

The amended objects clause in the Mem. & Arts. (which has never been amended on the Madeleine’s Fund begsite) is this:

so once 2B.1.1 & 2B.1.2 have been accomplished (watch out for flying pigs) there is at least a theoretical liability to continue under clause 2B.2, or maybe they could pay the balance away to KM’s favourite MP charity to continue the work.
