Any ‘book money’ (‘All royalties donated to Madeleine’s fund’) should have gone there, with £550k transferred in (year ending 3/12), although there is a note at the end of the accounts saying ‘Donations of £738,487 have been made in the period to the company out of post-tax royalties and other income from sales of the book’, which does not really make sense, but could equate to book money that was felt to not be ‘restricted’ in the accounts.

A further £400k was transferred in (y/e 3/14) and I am sure a good lawyer could make a case that the serialization fee from the Sun, however much that may have been, should have been treated as ‘book money’, rather than personal income which is being suggested. There would have been a substantial tax liability to KM in respect of the book.

I think Oprah denied paying anything for the interview, and the ‘Hello’ fee again I believe is conjecture.

The T7 out of court settlement £375k (October 2008) was mentioned in the 2009 accounts, but not identified individually.

CM will still be in the background acting as 'a source close to' either 'the family' or 'the investigation'. This entire mini media blitz was simply a pretext to launch another drive for funds. They must really be worried about the outcome of their Supreme Court appeal. (But keep an eye out for British authorities to take a another trip to Portugal.)

I'm not from Portugal but I'll hazard a guess that the PJ haven't much (if anything) to publish, if you mean, which I think you do, detail of any investigation since archival in July 2008. Since then most of their valuable time I think has been wasted responding to the random requests put forth by Operation Grange, hell bent on pursuing phantom burglars, dead socks and errant paedophiles.

I'm confident in saying that they wouldn't be in any position to publish detail of an outside investigation, in this case Operation Grange. sad
