an interesting post by Blacksmith Bureau today. It concerns events on the 6th and 7th Sep 2007.
From what he says, and without researching, it seems to cover the police interrogation of Kate. Stuff I had either forgotten or
was not really aware of. Worth a read -it revolves around:

"The problem for all of us is that neither the police, who insisted that the initiative came from him, nor the McCanns have been entirely open about the events of September 6 and 7, the fulcrum of the entire case."

This made me look back at the 6th and 7th September 2007 when the Mc Canns were made arguidos.
Interesting to re-read old reports from then in the Telegraph, referring to blood found

Ask the Doctor!

The "visit" by David Payne to apartment 5A is being aired once again, so we're told. There is little new to be said about it until the appearance of more evidence and the only tip the Bureau can offer is to ignore the message of DC Mike Marshall to Paiva regarding Payne’s movements that day if you wish to retain your sanity or until we find out if he was on acid when he wrote it.................................
