On the Gasper statements: they are important (imo) because doctors do not 'shop' each other especially those that have been friends for years. Although many have questioned the apparent lack of action from them at the time of occurrence it was very brave for them to come forward knowing that the McC's and DP would ultimately find out. The body can't be found due to what would be revealed imo. It takes something rather sinister to bond that number of people together, would you go along with a cover up if 'all' you had done was the neglect side. Would you be willing to possibly go to prison as an accessory to a childs death?

Exactly! It would sure have to be some damn incriminating evidence for not one soul to speak up. I'm still not convinced.

I don't think it was swinging with a high-level person present - though I did once.

Remember that video of most of the T9 in an airport bus where one of the group was videoing them? Gerry was looking glum and made some comment like "why should I be happy?" Madeleine was in that. Whatever happened was, in my opinion, preplanned. I'd like to know who released that video into the public domain.

Whether the Fund was already an idea I don't know.

This is a bit ambiguous because it can (and has been) interpreted as him saying "I am enjoying myself". There is also another video where the duo are being interviewed and some said GM put his head on KM's shoulder and was supposed to have said "Don't tell them", it was also interpreted as him saying " Well done darling".
See what I mean, some things can seem more sinister that what they actually are. All I'm trying to do is look at things from a different perspective. I really can see some absolutely nonsensical things that the duo (well most of 'them actually) have done.

I really don't know, one minute I think guilty and the next my mind has changed. I just think though that it isn't a cover-up of such a grand scale that people are thinking. Personally I think things have escalated so much that certain people are thinking "how did I get involved".

SSO - are you able to say more about your sources for this? I believe it was a swinging event at OC that week from 28th April (to promote off-peak season business) and for me it explains the presence of the
mix of people who were there and the reason why there was a cover up initially. I am just interested in how you arrived at your opinion.

Can I just try to 'put right' the I'm not here to enjoy myself statement. You will find that it is a piece of black humour which is commonly used by Glaswegians (weegies). A common question is do you think I'm here to enjoy myself? I don't think on that occasion he said anything to necessarily worry about I've heard loads of people use similar statements about holidays (which can be stressful with small kids but doesn't mean you wish any harm on them!)

But I dont think that it is the MCc Cann 'swinging' that caused any cover up - it is the swinging of the various higher profile 'VIP' guests that were part of the crowd invited to the gathering that week. Doctors swinging - no real problem. High profile establishment figures swinging - they would definitely want a cover up.
It won't surprise you to learn that I disagree. I just don't believe that swinging by anyone, VIP or not, could cause parents to cover up the death of their first child.

I agree with you AndyB. IMO there was more to hide than swinging

I agree. The only scenario I can think of is that they've overdosed poor MM ( one parent gave her a dose without the other one knowing, hence the overdosing) and then they've panicked, thinking things like losing the twins, job, lifestyle etc. then because they've got away with it for so long, and things have escalated, other people getting involved etc, that it's too late to turn back.
Of course the other scenario is an abduction, kidnapping etc.......................
