Stephen Birch has been quiet on Facebook lately but he's back with a bang today and I can't resist imparting this message to everyone.

"Personally I believe Tony Bennett the UK attorney who is trying to become famous for writing a leaflet on why Kate and Gerry McCann disposed of Madeleine McCann's body, needs to be institutionalised. The man lacks the ability to fully comprehend the extent of the cover-up surrounding Madeleine's death by the Portuguese and UK government. When I am finished exposing and crushing both governments, and exhuming Madeleine's body, I am going to have him committed....the man's a nutcase...."

Could this be yet another example?

Some members of this forum took his claims seriously.

I responded by giving examples of his being an attention-seeking con-man who was probably madder than a box of frogs

Birch received a registered letter containing papers from Portugals Ministerio da Justica in which both the state and Robert James Queriol Eveleigh Murat and Jenifer Na Murat are suing Stephen for tresspassing and the state is suing Stephen for unlawfully conducting an investigation under article 57 & 58 section 2,3 and 4 of the penal act... (In July 2012, Stephen entered Robert Murats property and discovered what he believes to be Madeleine McCann remains buried beneath Roberts Murats rear gravel driveway)

Interesting if true. I'm not convinced that SB has ever been on the Murats' property.

Some while ago he produced a letter which, if genuine, showed that RM had agreed to let him dig up the garden in exchange for money.

Why would RM now be suing him?

Please could a Portuguese speaker give us the gist of what the letter says on the link provided by TH? I note that it doesn't mention the Murats at all!

He's been asked on Facebook to provide the rest of the document - three more pages - which supposedly is the writ from Robert Murat, bearing in mind that the first two pages don't mention him or his mother.

We shall see. If he's made the story up, goodness only knows what is the point of it.
