What are the reasons that some topics are locked ?
I was interested to find out more about the diary/manuscript found in the last residence of the McCs,I have previously read about it and part of what was written e.g the Swansea phone number and some word coding that was unable to be interpreted by the PJ.
Is there a copy of it available for viewing,or has it not being released by the PJ.

There can be any number of reasons why a thread is locked, there is no generalization.

As regards your question, you need to be more specific jazega. I for one haven't the vaguest idea what you are referring to.

NB: You can still read locked threads so there's no need for your search to be hampered.

I think it's in reference to Tavares de Almeida's interim report that discusses a photocopy of a 'journal / diary', which they found quite compelling.

I think jazega may be referring to topics in this section (Research and Analysis) - in which case they're locked because they're reference threads...but anyone is welcome to copy what they need and then make a discussion topic in the Debate Section.

Yes it was in reference to the above report,concerning paperwork that was found under the sofa,after they left to fly back to the U.K in the apartment that they last resided in.Some conjecture that Justine McGuinness may have left it there ?? ,or it may be another red herring
I was just trying to find out if the paperwork/journal/diary have ever been published or are they still being kept private in the PJ files.

It should be noted here that journalist Duarte Levy has made a number of unsubstantiated claims connected to the case of Madeleine McCann.

There is no mention of the story contained in the PJ files, only Kate McCann's diary. I venture to suggest it's total fabrication.
