'Jigsaw man' - another missing piece of the jigsaw
Our debating friends on the 'MIssing Madeleine' forum have already dubbed this new 'possible suspect' who was seen 'somewhere near the apartment' as:
'JIGSAW MAN',
because of this from Martin Brunt on SKY News:
"Scotland Yard tell me that until they identify him and question him, they really don't know where he fits into this jigsaw..."
Somehow I think that's a name that will stick.
Can someone please post the "E-fit' of jigsaw man on this thread as well as anywhere else.
So we can help track down 'jigsaw man'

Re: 'Jigsaw man' - another missing piece of the jigsaw
I'm bemused by the continual mention of this jigsaw with missing pieces.
If this is one and the same jigsaw that was last seen complete in apartment 5A on or around 3 May 2007, weren't they found behind the sofa yonks ago? [yawn]

and then further downPolice have identified a new suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and are set to release an 'e-fit' photograph of him, it was claimed today. . .
So it is NOT a suspect. However, police are currently unsure how the man might be connected to the case
Re: 'Jigsaw man' - another missing piece of the jigsaw
Same old rubbish isn't it? Nothing new. Media hyping the same old stories. It's either sightings in some far off place or e-fits that no one ever recognises

Absolutely right. It's so utterly absurd. I don't understand how people let this kind of rubbish wash over them without thinking or questioning for a second.PeterMac wrote:Is it me or has this bit been added to the story ?

Re: 'Jigsaw man' - another missing piece of the jigsaw
PeterMac - suppose someone really did see a suspicious man near a crime scene 6 years 5 months ago.PeterMac wrote:Is it me or has this bit been added to the story ?

Suppose further that this witness had reported this to the police fairly soon after the crime - but the police had not followed it up properly at the time (unlikely, I know).
You are the Senior Investigating Officer doing an extensive cold case review. You are reviewing something that happened in another country 2,000 miles away, which was extensively investigated at the time by the police force of that country.
Can you tell us how much value there would be in doing a Crimewatch special in the U.K. on this 6-year-old sighting of a bloke seen near the crime scene?
And, realistically, what prospect is there that someone could come forward 6 years later with some new, usable information?

Maybe there is something or someone else.
Maybe the powers-that-be in the Met and the BBC are just stoking things up to achieve maximum indoctrination coverage.

This is the press conference re the e-fit of the Victoria Beckham lookalike.
Pieces of the jigsaw mentioned again. Clarrie and Dave Edgar in full flow. It's just over 30 minutes long.

The Pope was part of this jigsaw.
So was Kevin Halligen.
And Antonio Giminez Raso.
And a prominent northern Freemason.
No doubt at the very centre of this jigsaw should be Madeleine herself.
Is she not the 'missing piece' in this entire jigsaw?

Thanks Aquila.
For operational reasons I am unable to post what I think of these two, but as soon as I am given the all clear I will, although it might take six years and counting:

My bet's on this being the next e-fit, I don't believe it's ever been shown before (I may be wrong) so I guess they can get away with calling it 'new' or 'fresh' information. Carol Tranmer's (second) statement is very interesting reading.
MISSING FROM FILES Carole Tranmer
Original interview and identikit not included in DVD:
In the interview of Carole Tranmer on 22nd April 2008, as recorded on DVD, reference is made more than once to a statement given by her to Leics police on 8 May 2007, and to an identikit that was created with the assistance of a police officer from Reading.

Re: 'Jigsaw man' - another missing piece of the jigsaw
The renowned forensic psychologist Paul Britton wrote a book called The Jigsaw Man.
http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/products/paul+britton/the+jigsaw+man/5372870/
As far as I know, he hasn't commented publicly on the McCann case; it would be interesting to hear what he thinks.
