if the search 'has been harmed', can someone please explain to me the status and validity of the plethora of widely publicised front page 'sightings' since the publication of Snr Amaral's book?

For example, the 'Ibiza airport sighting' photograph- in what way was the person who brought this to the attention of the Press influenced by the book?

It's strange how their official site did not report on the libel as sign of their struggle against their search ?

As someone wisely put it, their search is mythical. The only real objective of their mythical search is MONEY.

This hasn't gone unnoticed by the press either when the 1.2M is tagged along libel headlines.

And, stranger still no pros turn up in Court to root for them? Where are the majority they talked about?

I wonder if Gerry's siblings advised him to come forward with the truth. Being a cardiologist he knows that it would be much better for his health. Imo, Maddie's death could cost his life too, too much tension.
What would be the use for the twins: no big sister, no father? Kate all alone?
Imo, his biggest problem are the twins to whom he does not dare to tell the truth and imo, with a psychologist support, both can tell the truth to the children.
Being their father, he has his responsibility.

Gerry looks devastated imo, and it is caused by the Yard investigation, imo.
There is a huge difference between the Gerry of 2011 in Amsterdam and the Gerry of the hearing.
His life is a mess, imo.

Secondly, on C5 news yesterday it said 'that their school friends were discussing the book'

Which language version of the book were their eight year old school friends discussing?

Perhaps M Wrong, from Skipton, has personally given all the school kids a full translation of the book, he says he downloaded.

Or perhaps the children picked up a copy from the local bookshops as it is widely available, in the UK, as a McCann witness said.

Surely, you'd think, that the McCanns themselves would have told the twins, a long time ago, that there was a nasty book about them.

Also loved the C5 report where they had a 'still' picture of GA holding up his book for 10 seconds.

Is this because The Justice Forum tried to take a picture of ID. Would that cause AG to be barred?

It was outside the Court so doubt it would affect any of the proceedings.

Lots of hoo- ha about this on twitter and Justice. Anne was tweeted by an assistant of ID requesting that the photo she took of ID posted on Justice was removed. A second tweet said that if it remained, action would be taken.

The pros are all going crazy saying Anne will be banned from court for taking a photo in a prohibited area. Anne had as far as I have read, stated that she snapped ID outside, as did the press.

In a public area, what is the issue exactly?
Anyway, Anne got a mouthful from ID which she has interpreted I think as her being simply the whipping post for all ID's frustration at the way things have gone so far.

The photo is on twitter so I don't know how they will get that one removed.

Can any of the UK media spell Goncalo's name correctly (can't do the tilde underneath the letter C as I don't know where it is on my keyboard).

In the last couple of days we've had Goncolo, Goncaro and from Channel 5 News we have Goncarlo.

I'm not sure how many other permutations will be found in the coming days. The media can all spell McCann, can all spell Gerry and Kate and yet they can't seem to get Sr Amaral's name correct.

just watched that video of the group leaving the court.

Towards the end...... why was ID, a lot smaller than her client, a man happy to walk a short distance without an umbrella............ accompanying him all the way to his car, holding her umbrella with an arm stretched high so it covered Gerry's head as well as her own ?!!!
ID only walked away once her client was safe and dry in his car.

I am almost speechless. watch again....near the end of the clip.

I doubt the picture is the reason. I suspect that they would love to get rid of her reporting, especially now maybe Mr "save the day and the money" McCann himself might testify.
