A hard-hitting emotionally charged 60 min documentary by Bill Maloney (Award winning independent film director) who's family were all brought up in the UK care system.

It covers Maloney's visit and interpretation of Jersey, Channel Islands, following the ongoing child abuse investigations of the children's care home 'Haut de la Garenne'. It highlights connections with the Sea Cadets and children being brought from London care homes for 'sailing holidays' on the Island. The documentary contains strong language and strong opinions.

Due to his and his family's experiences of Establishment care homes Maloney felt compelled to see first hand the response of Islanders to the alleged abuse claims and their general feeling for the Governing States. A mixed response of silence, anger and insensitivity is catalogued from this island of geographical beauty with an ugly underbelly. The film includes mainstream news reports with Jeremy Paxman, Stuart Syvret, Lenny Harper, Esther Rantzen and Frank Walker.

It is the opinion of Bill Maloney that if a child was required - Haut de la Garenne was the venue; if an adult was required - St Saviours Mental Hospital was the venue.

What happens to all these buildings where atrocities happened at the hands of paedophiles and murderers?

There is a huge building (boy's home) near to where I live. It was a Catholic home for boys. It made the papers a few years ago and a Catholic priest in his dotage was convicted. The home closed in 1989.

The building (adjoining the Catholic church still open) is boarded up but still remains standing. It is dishevelled and probably rat infested. An empty building is not without financial costs. 20 years of keeping a derelict building must surely be questionable to any organisation.

The Wests (Rosemary and Fred) lived in a house of atrocity that was demolished. The Philpotts' house is being demolished (even the nextdoor neighbours to their semi-detached have sold the property). It's easy to get rid of a house and establish something like a garden of memory almost immediately. It's almost consecrating the ground in memory of atrocity.

Now ramp that scale up to institutional crimes.

Why are the buildings of institutions which allowed the most heinous of crimes still standing? Is it because there is something the diggers may find?

Why hold onto buildings designed to help the underprivileged that have absolutely no use to a single living human being today? why hold onto a property that can't be sold (unless the owners are hoping the stigma goes away and there is an opportunity to make a huge amount of money by developing 'posh flats')?

Why are these buildings still standing?

In my lifetime I have seen so much footage of foreign orphanages and vile buildings/regimes. I hate to say that it's worse here because we are supposed to be the educated people, the first world country. You will see in documentaries about Chernobyl the 'ghost town' from a nuclear disaster. Take a look around UK and you'll see 'ghost town' buildings from institutional homes for children. Those buildings are still standing and don't look any different except their toxic waste is behind shutters and the facade of the building is considered 'listed'.

Watched this documentary in full this morning. What strikes me these days is that so many people are joining the dots, and in one form or another (blogs, documentaries, forums) many people are "networking" these findings, yet apart from in a few incidents, the authorities at large are not taking any action.

Now this could be that they don't want to draw more attention to the scandals, don't care what the public think or are just working on the assumption that a few dedicated campaigners and researchers can be easily written off as nutty conspiracy theorists as far as the masses are concerned.

Because relatively few are actually "publishing" their findings, it is impossible to know how many people are actually "awake" to the issues at hand, as many people read internet content but don't get involved in contributing. It would seem though that the "awakening" is gradually gathering pace and drawing in more people to what is actually going on.

We all here, get the feeling I am sure, that these awful truths are being treated by the media as elephants in the room - they get a mention in articles, things are exposed to a certain point, but then they seem to halt without going all the way to a definitive conclusion, or evidence gets lost or is discredited. All these "dots" are not being effectively joined by the media (at least at the moment). So where do we go from here?

How are all these awful cases and abuse scandals, cover ups, Masonic undertones, all going to be drawn together, compiled into the bigger picture, and exposed as a whole? Or do we think that even if all the elements are drawn together and presented as an incontrovertible whole, the powers that be have such total and utter control/immunity that it will never be addressed in the mainstream and stopped?

I was told a while ago by a good friend who has a senior position in a Children's Rights charity that social workers are paid bonuses when they remove a child from the family home and place that child into care. In particular, young blonde children. Who is ultimately behind this? - OFSTED. I've even seen it happen myself. This link explain it.

I Don't think these things will every be addressed or stopped by the MSM, the establishment want power over us the people. I believe the two secret societies are the Masons and Common Purpose, each of them look after their own, both these secret societies smear others to keep away what they are actualy doing, secresy is a cloak to hide depravity, pervation, corruption.

Saville had connections at the very top of the establishment, he was protected because imo he was the procurer of children for them, he also had all the dirt on them, they had to protect this serial child abuser at all costs or there secrets would come out. The MSM will have all the information on the high up Peodo's, but won't say or print partly because of Leveson, but also I think they have been gagged perhaps by super injunctions or a D notice but more so by the very top of the establishment, and I don't mean the prime minister!

Saville had said when died he wanted burying at 33 degree's so he could see the sea, a liar to the end, I've read he was a 33 degree mason.

Edward V111 and Wallace Simpson's affair was a well kept secret in this country, the press knew but couldn't print it, although it was in newspapers in USA, France ect, this cover-up was from the very top of our society, the cover-ups are still continuing!!

Frightening reading. The more I read/watch the more I realise how much the wool is pulled over our eyes. I did realise, on a very small scale, how the British public are kept in the dark about things when I lived in Martinique in the 1990s. Martiniquian TV was awash with stories about British sheep being unsafe to eat long before the British heard about it. Similarly, once back in the UK I first heard about BSE in cattle via a phonecall from a Martiniquian friend.

Also, the topless Kate photos we heard about in the UK were actually not just topless photos but also included full nude shots, a fact the establishment kept well and truely hidden from the public. I expect the establishment thought we could cope with hearing about a topless future queen but those of us who do not agree with the institution of monarchy would be outraged at such a show of hedonism especially during a recession and might start to get difficult.

Obviously, the above examples are nothing in comparison with the subject of the thread but yes - I do think we are regarded as sheep who do not question the given word. Let us hope the tide is turning.

Curious after watching video, I found some interesting information from different Blogs, here's a few.

Between England and France lies a small British island called Jersey and one called Guernsey. They are the most southerly of the British Isles and are much closer to France than England. Jersey is a crown island and technically owned by the Queen of England. When a BBC television program covered the investigation at Haut de la Garenne and attempted to interview Frank Walker, the Jersey Chief Minister, the Queen's appointed governing council of the BBC was alledgedy forced by the Queen to publicly issue an apology. The fact that the BBC was alledgedy forced to publicly apologize for merely good journalism connects this case all the way to the Queen.

Allegations against Savile and other famous and powerful people were made during the 2008 inquiry. Earlier this week, the Telegraph revealed that another alleged abuser was the actor Wilfrid Brambell, the “dirty old man” of Steptoe and Son fame. One of two boys whom he abused in a back room at the Jersey Opera House in the Seventies was from Haut de la Garenne.

The States of Jersey Police have confirmed that an Haut de la Garenne resident had alleged abuse by Savile in the mid-Seventies during the 2008 inquiry, but said there had been insufficient evidence for an investigation to proceed. The authority has also confirmed that three more victims of Savile on Jersey have contacted them in recent days

At the start of the 1970s Islington Council started trafficking Children to the Haute de la Garenne Care Home in Jersey, and the Casa Pia orphanages in Portugal. It is believed the non compliant Children , or ones who had parents making complaints , were taken to Jersey for rape, torture and murder. The more attractive/compliant

At these “Showbiz Parties” attended by Politicians , Judges , BBC Executives , Radio One DJ s and celebrities Children as young as 9 , mostly from Islington Care Homes, were raped and tortured. There was also the production of Child pornography at these “Showbiz Parties” using BBC equipment and Staff.

Aquila, I am very sorry to say that I unknowingly bought such a building. In 2005 I bought an existing Children's Day Nursery only to discover that it had originally been a Residential Disabled Children's Home that had been the subject of a Panorama TV documentary due to sexual and physical abuse in the 70s-90s by staff. According to a report I subsequently found, much of this abuse took place in the bathrooms. Strangely, some time later I noticed that two 'adjoining' rooms on the first floor had around 10ft of unexplainable wall inbetween both rooms. I had this wall knocked out as curiosity was getting the better of me - only to find a bricked up fully functional bathroom.
