CHILD EXPLOITATION AND THE COMMERCIAL ROUTES.

CHILD EXPLOITATION
The word 'exploit' means to use something for one's own advantage.
Child exploitation happens in many different ways, and of course some people will immediately connect the term with sexual exploitation.
However, there is a declaration and Agenda for Action of the World Congress Against Commercial Exploitation of Children to which the UK is a signatory.
Feel free to discuss what ''commercial exploitation'' could mean?

Child labour, such as in India during the final stages of construction of the stadium for the Commonwealth games well documented on TV last year. Such as in the far east to make training shoes for our top athletes, and footballs for our overpaid prima donnas, etc
When done at the expense of the education and health of the child it is exploitation.

How about profiting from writing a book which is not even offering an alternative view to the abduction theory?

i would say child exploitation would include selling posters and bracelets and whatever else they have been making money from on their site on the back of Madeleine's name.

What about the exploitation of the twins? They are being brainwashed into believing Madeleine was taken by a monster who they want to find and fight. Mental abuse.

Every time they show that poor deceased childs photo to beg for money for themselves, they are exploiting her IMO.

One fails to see how the selling of a book will benefit Maeleine. The police throughout the world know that Madeleine is still missing and would not charge them a penny if they found her and brought her home. Why have a fund at all? What purpose is it serving? Why pay for a handful of private detectives when there is a world full of police out there?

There are very strict rules regarding posting images of children that are a Ward of Court. I cannot understand why a stop hasn't been put to the abuse of Madeleine's image by her parents.

Almost too extraordinary for words. Staggeringly, Justice Hogg also appears to be somebody who refuses to give any credence to the Portuguese police and the dogs. She also seems to expect that Madeleine may return home, despite the police files being available to her.
