Angharad Williamson, 31, and John Cole, 40, (left) subjected Logan (right) to horrific abuse. He was tortured, starved, kept 'prisoner' and forced to do push-ups until he collapsed. Logan, a previously 'smiling, cheerful little boy', was discovered in the River Ogmore in Pandy Park, Bridgend, South Wales, on the morning of July 31, 2021. Police found him partially submerged, wearing dinosaur pyjama bottoms and a Spider-Man top, just 250 metres from his home. Also pictured inset: Tributes left near to where Logan was found.

NEW Logan Mwangi's teenage killer can finally be unmasked as his 14-year-old stepbrother Craig Mulligan - who moved into the family home just five days before his death despite vowing to kill the child in yet another social services failure. Mulligan - who was found guilty of the five-year-old’s murder alongside his stepfather John Cole and stepmother Angharad Williamson - had previously been under the care of foster parents who described him as 'pure evil'. Mulligan's identity had been anonymised due to his age - but a judge lifted the order of naming him after he was jailed for 15 years for Logan's murder. Mulligan moved into the family home in Sarn, Bridgend, after Cole and mum Angharad Williamson successfully applied for custody of him. Their bid was approved by the family courts - despite Logan being on the child protection register and Mulligan's previous threats to kill him. Mulligan would refer to Cole as 'dad' and Williamson as 'mum' but would not refer to Logan as his brother - calling him only: 'the five-year-old'.

I've just watched the documentary about this. It's so sad what happened to Logan and the months of torture and abuse he endured including from his own mother.

He survived for 7 hours after he was left with fatal injuries by his stepdad and stepbrother, both of whom were trained in martial arts.

I do hope 5 year old Logan managed to put up a good fight against those two, even though he had catastrophic internal injuries and a brain bleed.

The mother was pretty convincing and distraught when she phoned 999 and said he was missing from his bed, and was genuinely crying when the police interviewed her later.

It's almost as if she'd watched other parents play acting and learned how NOT to do it.

She was initially charged with perverting the course of justice until the police found more evidence of her involvement in Logan's murder.

And now we read that social workers lied, and tried to cover up their behaviour They are complicit in the murder of this little boy.

And Logan's real father was blocked from seeing him for over a year and could have saved him.

You're right, social services are a bloody disgrace...and not just in this case either.

I can believe the mothers tears were real, but not for little Logan.
She was crying out of fear, fear of being found out about what really happened to Logan and fear of what was going to happen to her and the other scum involved in his death.

I haven't read what the social workers have said, probably lying and covering their backs, the bottom line is, Logan died on their watch, there is no excuse for not doing what you are payed to do.

It's not the first time this has happened and it wont be the last, unfortunately.

WATCH THE BABY bbc Yes another baby murdered taken from his mum after birth with no paperwork as she had suffered domestic violcence but didt give her HELP took baby Lleland they put him with a foster who woz very luving ,he woz poorly needed an opp while recovering SOCIAL SERVICES took him from the foster put him wiv a married couple thhat adnt waited long only wanting a baby due to extended family asking when theyr aving a child , They didt bond and social workers were told texts messages saying she wanted leather him Yes she killed him , social workers wudt tell his mum wot hospital just he woz critical she didt get say Goodbye ,
