After all, anyone can write or edit a wikipedia entry ....

I said much the same some while ago.

Wikipedia is about reliable as the 49 bus between Tooting Broadway and Balham High Street.

Sometimes .... many times, the internet can be more trouble than it's worth.

The media is certainly maximizing on internet potential. It's even more powerful now than back in the day when only tomorrow's chip paper.

The scope for spreading propaganda is limitless, there is seriously no telling what is true and what is false - even the most diligent researcher can't differentiate between the two.

Chill out - life is too precious to waste on deception, live life to the full - you only get one shot at it so don't be led astray.

Look after yourself and those dearest to you, the rest can go to hell.

Gerry McCann called for an example to be made of 'trolls'. SKY reporter Martin Brunt doorstepped Brenda Leyland on 2 October 2014 after a 'Dossier' was handed in to Police by McCann supporters. She was then found dead in a Leicester hotel room two days later having, apparently, taken her own life. Brenda paid the price.
