Kate and Gerry McCann are "buoyed" by news Kamiyah Mobley has been found alive 18 years after she was stolen as a newborn baby from hospital.

She was taken from a hospital in July 1998 and was living under a different name with a woman she assumed was her birth mother.

Kamiyah’s case has given fresh hope to the family of Madeleine McCann , the three-year-old who went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal in May 2007.

A friend of parents Kate and Gerry revealed they were “buoyed” by the news across the Atlantic.

The source said: “It shows that dreams can come true and this teenager being found so many years after the event is another example that will give Kate and Gerry hope.”

Last month the McCanns, of Rothley, Leics, said they were hoping a new year “miracle” would reunite them with their daughter as the 10th anniversary of her abduction approaches.

A Facebook campaign, which they endorse, said in a new post: “We still have great hope and believe in miracles.

“Thank you for continuing to be by our side. Let’s get her home.” A police source recently revealed detectives were working on the final theory that Maddie was kidnapped by a European trafficking gang.

Sounds like some more 'fake' news, to me!

Hope the 'author' of this 'piece' has given OG his irrefutable, undeniable, unquestionable, incontrovertible, incontestable, unassailable, impregnable, beyond question, indubitable, beyond doubt, beyond dispute, indisputable; 'evidence' of Madeleine's 'abduction'!

I'll phone OG later today, if they 'work' weekends, and ask them to ascertain exactly what Mirror 'journalist', CHRISTOPHER BUCKTIN, 'knows' about Madeleine's 'abduction'!

He MUST have 'evidence' of 'her abduction' to 'state' that in his article.......................musn't he?

Otherwise, his 'employer', Mirror Group Newspapers PLC, Trinity Mirror plc, might well be 'accused' of printing FAKE NEWS!

It's so predictable the Mccanns would jump on this story. There's one big difference, Madeleine was not a new born baby, if one of the twins had disappeared then their story might be more believable.

Now the Mail's dear 'ol Tracey Kandohla's got her grubby little trotters on the story - will there be an exclusive in the Sunday edition I ask myself?

So, the McCanns are 'buoyed' by this latest revelation, even though the report goes on to say that Operation Grange are working on a final theory that 'Maddie' was kidnapped by a European trafficking gang - no change there!

This bit I like best of all, it sums up Operation Grange to perfection..

'Detectives have explored dozens of theories about Maddie's disappearance from being snatched by paedophiles and murdered during a botched burglary to being accidentally killed by her parents. Despite nearly 9,000 potential sightings across the globe police have struggled to unearth any new clues.'

10th anniversary this year so no surprise that we are going to be getting more and more of these stories appearing in the papers.

I will read an article if posted fully on here, but I am certainly not going to click any links on the newspaper websites or buy the papers to read regurgitated "news".

Isn't it about time we were reading about the appeal verdict?

I HOPE so!

Nobody believes a word that comes out of any of the T9 'mouths'.

I WANT the McCan'ts on telly giving lovely 'interviews', all recorded for posterity, and of course possible 'evidence'.

I WANT the McCan'ts on telly saying/giving completely contradictory 'statements' to what they have said up till 'now'.

I WANT the McCan'ts to 're-confirm' their already admitted 'lies' live on telly.

BUT, mainly, I want to 'see' just how much of their feet they can ram in their mouths before Pinky ('hiding' off camera) 'signals' and tells them to 'shut the fcuk up'!

Like he did when they gave their 'conference' in Lisbon when GM stated that 'THEY' were not 'implicated'......'in 'Madeleine's death!'

Like he did when they gave their 'conference' in Lisbon when KM stated that 'whether the investigation (for her 'missing' daughter) is re-opened, or not, it doesn't matter'! (to them)

Oh hang on, that was one 'rare' media 'conference' Pinky WASN'T at!

Get 'them' on telly, I say, so all those lovely body language 'experts' can see their 'ears turning red' and KM's 'shoulder shrugs' almost hitting the studio roofs!

Unlike the McLies the abductor was seen at the scene – seen by witnesses that described her and very importantly the child’s mother. Unlike Madeleine where the only reliable witnesses to anything were Eddie & Keela. And we all know what those two witnessed.

It really pi**es me off how every time there is a missing child case it is always compared to the McCann case. I see it on other forums too, they even tried to compare missing foster child William Tyrell in Australia with Madeleine's case. What is up with that? It's frikken ridiculous IMO. Madeleine wouldn't even be missing if it wasn't for her horrible negligent parents if they actually did leave those poor babies home alone while they shirked their parental responsibilities.
