Dogs alerted 17 times! (Graphic)
Not latest news but when I saw Tony's sig I decided it needed a graphic.
I'm not sure that everyone realises how many alerts there were and that the dog(s) returned after the tiles had been lifted.
Hairs were retrieved from the veranda outside the parents bedroom as well and also on the bushes below the veranda in the garden (as well as Eddie's cadaver alert.)
Will be adding a page to my Wordpress blog with all the info (later..lol)

17 alerts by CADAVER & BLOOD dogs and 17 Questions that demand answers!
17 alerts by CADAVER and BLOOD dogs, when your daughter goes missing would have ANY parent asking many questions and DEMANDING answers! What parent would categorically claim their daughter was alive because there is no evidence to prove she is dead, until THESE questions have been answered?
1) If a CADAVER DOG alerted inside your apartment, next to your bedroom closet, would you want to know WHO may have died there?
2) If a CADAVER DOG alerted behind your sofa would you want to know WHO may have died there?
3) If a CADAVER DOG visits several apartments but immediately 'alerted' ONLY to the doorway of your apartment would you want to know WHO may have died there?
4) If a CADAVER DOG alerts to your bedroom verandah, would you want to know WHY?
5) If a CADAVER DOG alerts below the verandah in the garden, would you want to know WHY?
6) If a CADAVER DOG alerts to TWO articles of your clothing would you want to know WHY?
7) If a CADAVER DOG alerted to a your child's TShirt would you want to know WHY?
8) If a CADAVER DOG alerted to a cupboard ONLY when it contained your child's soft toy, would you want to know WHY?
9) If a CADAVER DOG alerted to the driver's side of your car, would you want to know WHY?
10) If a CADAVER DOG alerted to your car key, would you want to know WHY?
11) If a BLOOD DOG alerted inside your apartment, to the floor under the sofa, the SAME spot as the CADAVER dog , would you want to know WHOSE blood they retrieved, especially as it had all the components matching your daughter's blood?
12) If a BLOOD DOG alerted to your car key, where your husband's blood was believed to be present, would you still wonder WHY the CADAVER DOG also alerted to it?
13) If a BLOOD DOG alerted to an area inside the rear luggage compartment of your car and 15 of your daughter's 19 markers were present in the retrieved blood, and was considered a MATCH in a forensic report, would you want to know whether more tests could eliminate the possibility it was her blood?
14) If a BLOOD DOG alerted to a lower part of the curtain behind the sofa, would you want confirmation as to WHOSE blood was retrieved?
15) If a BLOOD DOG alerted to an area beneath the tiles behind the sofa, would you want confirmation WHOSE blood was retrieved?
16) If the blood was confirmed to belong to the FORENSIC officer, would you breathe a sigh of relief?
17) Wouldn't you DEMAND that the forensics results are compared to the database of the scientists, as well as the mouth swab DNA results of the PJ and anyone that had access to the car and apartment and who may help to identify some of the markers and eliminate the possibility that the blood may have belonged to your daughter?
The above alerts are compatible with the POSSIBILITY of your little girl dying, then hidden behind the sofa, possibly moved to the closet in your bedroom and then possibly taken through the veranda doors and out to the garden, then at some later point moved in the car you rented three weeks after she disappeared,
I couldn't image ANY parents not DEMANDING ALL THE ANSWERS!

Cadaver odour on the red t shirt was alerted to by Eddie . We are led to believe it was Sean's.
What explanation (if any)was given?

Why are there so many scents? Two sets of shirts. Seems like the body was transported all over the apartment.

Cadaver odour detected in the garden area below veranda. So who moved a body and put it for a time in the garden? Mr. had no cadaver odour detected but Mrs. had. Would she be strong enough to carry a dead weight from the veranda, carry it to the garden area, deposit it on the ground for a time and then pick it back up to wherever? Were other group members checked for cadaver odour?

INFORMATION FROM A MODERATOR
Most people have forgotten about the 'smell of death' found in September 2007 on the clothes of one of the Tapas 7 (see below). Speculation mounted that it was Jane Tanner, because of her alleged 'Frreudian slip' on the BBC Panorama programme of Monday 19 November 2007. In one clip, referring to Madeleine, she said: "I carried her":

Sep 26, 2007 - Police dogs from South Yorkshire reacted to some items of clothing, ... Madeleine: Sniffer dogs 'found scent of death' on one of the McCanns' friends ...
+++++++++++
Friends of the McCanns faced fresh allegations yesterday after it was claimed that sniffer dogs had found the "scent of death" on one of them.
The same police dog which reacted to Mrs McCann's clothes - first causing suspicion to fall on her - was alleged to have smelled "death" on one of the friends who had dinner with the couple the night Madeleine vanished.
Police sources briefed a Portuguese newspaper that two police dogs from South Yorkshire, trained to detect corpses, human remains and microscopic traces of blood, had reacted to some items of clothing.
Family spokesman Clarence Mitchell denied categorically that any such procedure had happened.
The newspaper did not reveal which of the friends' clothing was meant to have triggered the reaction. Police in South Yorkshire refused to comment.
Detectives are writing to British police asking them to re-interview the seven friends the McCanns dined with on the night Madeleine vanished.
Madeleine's parents were dining in a tapas restaurant just yards from the apartment in the Mark Warner Resort in the Algarve, Portugal, when their daughter disappeared.
She had been sleeping inside the apartment with her brother and sister, twins Sean and Amelie.
According to reports from Portugal, all of those dining with the McCanns that night face further police questioning because their accounts of the night's events allegedly clashed.
Leicestershire police have consistently refused to comment on its role in the investigation and directed all questions to Portugal.
A spokeswoman said: "As the inquiry into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann is a Portuguese police investigation it is not appropriate for us to comment on it. Our role is to assist the Portuguese authorities, when and if they request it, with UK based inquiries.
"But because it is a Portuguese investigation, and because of the judicial system there, we are not able to disclose the nature of those inquires."
The seven friends - who, with the McCanns, make up the Tapas Nine - have been steadfast in their loyalty to Madeleine's family.
The group - most of them doctors and professionals - was made up of:
Dr Russell O'Brien, 36
A consultant in acute medicine at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, he knew Gerry McCann from Leicester. He was on holiday with his partner Jane Tanner and their two young daughters. At 9.25pm he left the restaurant for around 25 minutes to check on one of the girls, who was ill. He has been subject to a vicious Portuguese press campaign alleging he was absent for over an hour when Madeleine went missing. He has threatened to sue, insisting: "These reports are completely untrue and extremely hurtful."
Jane Tanner, 37
Dr O'Brien's partner. She arrived late at the tapas bar after treating their sick daughter.
On the way, she passed the McCanns' apartment and saw a man carrying a child. Crucially, her description of the child's clothes matched Madeleine's pink pyjamas.
Dr Matthew Oldfield, 37
Dr Oldfield, an endocrinologist at Kingston Hospital in South-West London, went to check the McCann children at 9 25pm. But he did not look inside the flat - simply listened from outside to ensure Madeleine and the twins were not crying.
Rachael Oldfield, 36
Dr Oldfield's wife, a former lawyer who is now a recruitment consultant. She is one of four witnesses who claim to have seen the first suspect, British expat Robert Murat, near the McCanns' flat. Last month she angrily dismissed reports that police had intercepted phone calls and emails between the McCanns and their friends which contradicted the group's earlier statements. Mrs Oldfield accused Portuguese police of "throwing mud when we are not able to defend oursleves"
David Payne, 41
Mr Payne is a senior research fellow in cardiovascular sciences at Leicester University
He and his wife and mother-in-law joined the group at 8.55pm. They are believed to have been the only ones using a baby monitor to check on their two children. Mr Payne has said: "All these smears and rumours are overshadowing the important thing, which is to get Madeleine back."
Dr Fiona Payne, 34
Mr Payne's wife, she is understood to have told police she saw Mr Murat shortly after Madeleine vanished. Dr Payne and her husband stayed on in the Algarve to support the McCanns. When the couple were made official suspects, she said: "It's an outrage - a preposterous accusation."
Dianne Webster
Dr Payne's mother. She has given no public interviews.

Re: 17 alerts by CADAVER & BLOOD dogs and 17 Questions that demand answers!
Kate claims to have carried a tired, pale Madeleine back from high tea at the Tapas bar to the apartment so she definitely could have carried her. Martin Grime's report does n't mention Eddie reacting to any other member's clothes as far as I can see. Was that withheld? Wouldn't trust a word the Mail says!

A Moderator writes: Kate's claim can't be true if death occurred any time before Thursday. As for the Daily Mail, its readers raised £800,000 to help Sgt Blackman successfully appeal against his murder conviction last week; years ago its readers raised £££millions so that the Omagh bombers could be prosecuted (the government failed to); they ran a highly successful campaign for Brexit last year - and have just won the newspaper industry's annual award for 'Newspaper of the Year' - Mod

Re: 17 alerts by CADAVER & BLOOD dogs and 17 Questions that demand answers!
It would be very interesting to know which party member had cadaver odours detected. So perhaps another doctor handled dead bodies the week before and didn't change his/her clothes for the holiday. Surely this would have been a very serious development in the enquiry. Surprised it was kept quiet.
Back to Mrs lifting a body from the garden, carrying a tired child is far different to picking up a dead weight from ground level. Certainly not saying she couldn't, but she doesn't appear to be that strong. I recall on a few occasions where my 4 year old has fallen asleep whilst watching tele, and picking him up to take him to bed without waking him. I was quite fit at the time lol, but he was an effort to pick up from the settee. Something doesn't really fit here. Maybe a group member took over from the veranda to the garden and then carried on from there. Still comes back to a group member having cadaver odour on them. Is this unnamed person perhaps the key to where the body actually went?

Re: 17 alerts by CADAVER & BLOOD dogs and 17 Questions that demand answers!
Those 17 questions have already been answered. 1. The research, the extensive research done by Gerry McCann had proven that the scent dogs were incredibly unreliable. 2. Cadaverine scent is the same as sea bass to which the twins took an astonishing like, so much so that they bought up that much of it, without the fridge space so it was stored behind the sofa and in the wardrobe. All perfectly reasonable explanations to discount them as evidence.

Re: 17 alerts by CADAVER & BLOOD dogs and 17 Questions that demand answers!
It was a tabloid report - I don't think you will find anything in the PJ files, or any other official (close to the investigation) source that verifies the claim. In the first weeks/months after Madeleine McCann's disappearance, the UK press published scores of inaccurate reports - one might say deliberately.wills wrote:It would be very interesting to know which party member had cadaver odours detected.
I think the suggestion can be safely dismissed pending clarrie-fication.
