There is a Daily Mail story too,  There was a couple with a 'getaway car' apparently, then there was more than one person 'dressed as waiters', then people in the swimming pools, then a man 'filming people'.

  Apparently police looked at the footage filmed by a 19 year old man and it was just footage of a band that was playing.  groups of men have been accosting 'suspicious' men and a woman, no wonder the woman ran!  
I'm not sure how these people were disguised as waiters, and then swimming ....or how the holiday makers knew they were 'suspicious'. Or how they knew the people they chased were not just scared witless at a load of irate blokes coming at them and the car really was a getaway car in the sense that they wanted to get away from these crazy people!    People seem to have forgotton allready about the evil Gypsies who took the little blond girl....which turned out to be their own child!

People are already saying they should question these scumbags over M. McCann and there is obviously a child trafficking ring going on in holiday resorts which makes total sense when you could just go to some ghetto area and get a vulnerable, uncared for child that wouldn't be missed.

   I'm not sure whether to believe this is a planted story beneficial to certain people, or a genuine tale of paranoia, stupidity and xenophobia that will no doubt be used by them anyway.

Police in Cyprus denied there was an attempted child abduction.

A spokesperson told the Mirror officers were called to reports a man was taking pictures at the hotel of children.
A 19-year-old Bulgarian man was spoken to by officers and his mobile phone was inspected.
He had pictures of people dancing at the hotel but they were all adults, the spokesman said.
No one was arrested and the man was later released.
Anastasia Beach Hotel states a similar version of events.
In a statement they said:"One of the hotel guests on 16 June 2015, around 20.30 hrs has informed the reception that a non resident was filming and taking pictures around the adult entertainment area.

"Immediately the hotel security went to the location and escorted the man involved at the hotel manager's office.
"The police was immediately notified and arrived at the scene.
"The police officers have investigated the man and his mobile phone and they found a video of the evening dancing show that was taking place at the entertainment area.
"The officers then escorted the man with the police car to the police station for further investigations.

"His mobile phone as well as his laptop and house has been inspected and nothing suspicious was found.

"The police, further to their investigation, finds the claims of child abduction to be completely unjustifiable and invalid as nothing was found that suggests that such incident ever took place or anything else worrying about this matter.

"The 19-year-old man involved in the above incident is not an employee of the hotel and is not a known person to either the management or staff.

A bit like the Portuguese police, who also found that the claims of child abduction were completely unjustifiable and invalid . . .
Just as the highly trained and experienced solicitor who gave the affidavit on the McCanns' behalf had to admit in the High Court, on oath and on the record, after just ONE question -
that the claims of child abduction were completely unjustifiable = no evidence . . .

Add that to the ten kids Kate saved this week, add this to the publicity about the Missing People cycle race, add that to the sacharine article in the Sun, Kate cycling with a broken foot (what did she kick this time? Iare there broken headboards in Maison Rothley ? )

A dad told how his daughter was snatched on holiday and he feared she would vanish like Madeleine McCann.

Daniel Mann said Lillie, two, was taken from a Cyprus hotel at the centre of a recent child ­abduction bid but was found in her kidnapper’s arms.

He added: “It was awful. My daughter was about 10 yards from me at the pool and in the time it took me to turn around and say, ‘It is time to go I will go and get the bairn,’ she had gone.”

Daniel, 28, told how he and his partner Kay Baldasara launched a frantic search for the toddler after she vanished from the pool at the Thomas Cook Anastasia Beach Complex – where police are investigating claims paedophiles tried to snatch the children of holidaymakers last week.

It was then the couple feared their only child may have suffered the same fate as Madeleine, who vanished from an Algarve resort in 2007, aged three.

PE teacher Daniel added: “We were frantically searching for about 40 minutes. I could feel my stomach churning the longer it went on.

“There were people joining to help all the time. One or two mentioned Madeleine McCann, you can imagine how that made me feel.”

As the couple got more and more distraught, Kay, also 28, spotted a woman carrying Lillie under arms around 400 yards from the hotel.

Daniel, of Horden, Co Durham, said: “We found her in the arms of an Eastern European woman who was walking towards a car park.

"My partner saw her, she thought she was carrying a bag of potatoes, then she realised it was our child. She ran after her, screaming.”

Kay added: “Lillie was hysterical.”

The woman claimed she found the toddler alone and was taking her to the hotel.
But Kay said: “By the time I checked over Lillie, she had gone.”
The couple did not believe her and asked staff to call police. But Daniel said: “The manager said to us, ‘You’ve got her back, that’s it’.”

The pair reported the kidnap attempt to Durham Police when they returned home after the holiday last August.

The case was referred to Operation Grange, the unit leading the search for Madeleine. It was also shared with detectives in Cyprus. There have been no arrests.

Daniel told how the latest kidnap bids at the hotel brought their own horror flooding back.

Well, well. It seems that the recent surge in people who have educated themselves in the way of PJ files scepticism in the parents (possibly as a result of the tragic death of Brenda Leyland?) coupled with Sr Amaral's appeal is resulting in this latest offensive in the press about dangerous foreign holiday resorts. Yet again, poor Maddie's picture is printed with the articles.

But WHY are they so important? 

An additional question, has Sr Amaral's appeal received any MSM press coverage in the UK at all? Just asking as I haven't seen any.

Perhaps should have read, I found my child in the arms of a kidnapper, I snatched the child back and promtly flattened the kidnapper then jumped on her head several times. A more believable version than "I was thinking of poor Madeleine McCann". Sadly neither are true.

I read about this, last night. I didn't think it was worth commenting on. According to the Cyprus police "IT DIDN'T HAPPEN"

possibly a reactionary peace to counter the recent CEOP revelations (30/4/2007)?

If only we had a way to identify which agency/PR company was the source of the 'story'.. but of course that is their role, to shield the truth
